Papantonia Hotel

Well what can I say this was an excellent find, the Hotel staff were excellent nothing was a problem from the cleaners to the waiting staff reception staff both working days and night the cooks and bar staff all excellent attitude and always smiling they would do any for you rooms were excellent and cleaned everyday WiFi throughout the hotel was excellent even at poolside never a problem getting a sun lounger at anytime of day with plenty of space around them also the entertainment team were excellent also always smiling and happy trying to get everyone involved this worked when more kids arrived water polo water aerobics face painting for the kids darts bingo yoga on the grass trying there hardest is say and compliments to the management on the running of an excellent teams

On arriving at this hotel the greeting i received from Thomas was something else. The warm welcome was so special and the whole 2 weeks of being at this hotel Thomas continued to be the best and it showed that he loves his job. My room was lovely it was big and overlooked the pool with a walk in shower all my requests had been given. There was a bottle of bubbly in the fridge along with sandwiches and fruit due to our late check in. The rooms could have done with more storage but this is currently being worked at. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the cleaners do an amazing job. The food in the hotel I found to be nice. It does get a little repetitive being on holiday for 2 weeks but always found something to eat. I did say I was missing jacket potatoes and the head chef made jacket potatoes the 2nd week of our holiday they were so good. Spyros deserves a shout out for going above and beyond. I was actually shocked at how small the restaurant area was but always managed to get a table. If sitting outside at breakfast is you left food on your plate to get a drink you would find birds come and eat off your plate but we didn't have this happen but it did. The entertainment team for this hotel are probably the worst entertainment I have seen. They dont engage with the guests. They would much rather do activities amongst themselves then do anything with the guests who have paid for their holiday and spent a large amount of time either sunbathing or passing ball amongst themselves when it should have been water polo. I just found that they didn't have the right personalty for the job they need to do. The night time entertainment was pretty poor also and think this needs to be addressed also. All staff to this hotel are amazing from the reception staff to bar staff and restaurant staff and managers. A personal thank you from me to Mr Michael for all of your help and just being you and looking after us. Your team are 100% perfect and I loved our little visit to your other hotel I was so grateful for the air con. Keep up the good work everyone. Stayed here last week , not a bad hotel , cleaners cleaned the room daily, food is OK ish , staff was very nice especially the pool bar.. they really looked after us both big thanks to them vuys , evening entertainment is bit poor , great location thow , Hotel manager very helpful, would i stay here again ..Yes 😀

Could not fault this lovely place! The staff, the rooms, food and drinks were all lovely! There were loads of sun beds and the pools were lovely We have stayed in 5 star hotels in the past so I’m not saying all this because I’m not use to luxury! We highly recommend it

Bring some tea bags ,if you like a good English cuppa !if travelling with easyJet ,there is no rep at the hotel ,but,Areti, the Jet2,was more than helpful with a problem we had concerning our departure ,and you can book trips through her .the all inclusive drinks are of the usual local brands ,the all inclusive food is a bit limited for choice ,but we always found something .the only things we would have liked to have seen ,are a cheese selection with the evening salad table , ice cream for the sweets , and tomatoes and mushrooms with the English breakfasts ,which they include a choice of sweetcorn and aubergines which we found a bit strange ! All the staff from reception to the bar staff ,were very friendly ,and our room was spacious and included a sofa and armchair .

Very clean, essentials are all covered and the staff are all very friendly and professional. Not much in terms of entertainment neither during the day nor at night but if it’s a quiet break away then this is ideal. We stuck to the left hand pool as it had the sun all day but apparently the pool, stage and bar area there belong to another hotel, The Anastasia. Made no difference though apart from their cocktails are covered by all inclusive ours weren’t. Take your own towel for the pool, plenty of sun beds.
