TUI Sensimar Torre Salinas

Unfortunately every meal at this hotel was truly an absolute disaster - i've never experienced anything so caotic anywhere - always insufficient food (clearly not catering for the number of guests) and very poorly managed & staffed. It was that chaotic at times in the end we would just sit and laugh as it reminded us of Faulty Towers!!

Spent 5 nights here in early June. The location is beautiful, right on the beach with sun loungers and surf patrol. Nice swimming pool with loungers too, all clean and tidy, with a small pool kiosk selling drinks. Our room was spacious and comfortable, walk in shower and a view out to the sea through full height opening windows. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and were nice people. We had a full board option, plenty of variety and I could always find something to eat. As well as cold meat, cheese salad, pasta of various types there was fish and meat from the outside grill. For what we paid for our trip the quality of the food was good, and you could help yourself to red or white wine, fizzy drinks and water was brought to the table. Again the catering staff were helpful and friendly, keeping a close eye on the details. There are outside tables available and inside is air conditioned. Each night there was music provided by a pianist from about 7 till 11 on the terrace outside the bar, playing all sorts but obviously with an Italian bias - dancing was popular. Prices at the bar were reasonable and drinks really good, sadly no draught beer, but staff again helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was quite remote, there's a campsite 200m away with their own restaurant, another resort with a restaurant about 1000m down the beach, but other than that nothing else around, so make sure you are fully stocked. All in all a great place to relax and enjoy the sea and sun in a calm setting. PS, when we were there the vast majority of the clientele were over 50

We spent 10 days of relax, sun and sea at Hotel Torre Salinas, a lovely experience, all the staff are cooperative and always there to help you have a nice holiday! The food is top quality, fresh and with lots of delicious things to eat! The cleaners are busy cleaning the rooms and everyday and they change all the dirty towels. Entertainment is really good, thanks to Daniele, Annalisa, Federica and Giorgio, each of them with their own specific activity, Annalisa for instance is a great singer and we enjoyed her singing at the Piano bar, every evening it was great, thanks to you all! We advise you to go Hotel Torre Salinas if you want a tranquil holiday!

Delicious food, right by the sea with the option of the pool. Room and bathroom was spacious. On the whole staff were friendly. Is a bit far out if you dont have a car, so booking transfers early is a good idea. There is a city tax that applies so you will have to pay 2.50 per person per night at the end of your stay which we didn't realise until the end. Have attached some examples of the food.

Hotel Torre Salinas - Adult only Muravera L’albergo … era ‘na battuta, ex-colonia estiva trasformata (male) in un Hotel a quattro stelle (una totalmente regalata). Accoglienza, praticamente inesistente, neppure un bicchiere d’acqua fresca ad accogliere gli ospiti in questa caldissima estate. Sperare in un facchino per i bagagli idem. La sola nota positiva, e resterà tale, sono le camere spaziose, non esenti da difetti, come l’assenza di un armadio (sostituito da un appendiabiti a vista e due mensole). Il mobiletto frigo con l’anta con apertura verso sinistra e la porta del frigo con apertura a destra .. dei geni ed una televisione troppo minuscola in relazione alla distanza dal letto. WiFi da scuola elementare. Troppo poco potente ed insufficiente per le odierne necessità di comunicazione e socializzazione. Aria condizionata comandata centralmente e ad orario (amici di Draghi?). Il bagno con i residui appiccicati alle piastrelle di vecchi erogatori, mensole traballanti e maniglia che si ferma prima di giungere in posizione orizzontale. (Questi piccoli interventi sono in parte stati sanati su segnalazione, nel corso del soggiorno). Il doppio ascensore che porta ai piani non funziona singolarmente, ma quando si aziona il comando di chiamata, arrivano entrambi gli ascensori causando un enorme spreco di energia. La piscina è stata inutilizzabile per una settimana per degli sconosciuti insetti, senza che sia stato offerto nulla di alternativo per un servizio: offerto, pagato, ma non fruito. Alla riapertura, apparivano ancora i segni di qualche frettolosa riparazione e molte parti del fondo, visibilmente scrostato. La struttura esterna, ristrutturata in modo approssimativo portava ancora i segni della scarsa manutenzione subita dall’immobile nei mesi invernali, infatti in moltissime finestre erano evidenti i segni di nidi che, evidentemente, sono stati sradicati a inizio stagione senza neppure cancellarne le tracce (se non sbaglio è vietatissimo togliere i nidi … 3.000 euro di multa a nido oltre il Penale). Non sono neppure state cancellate le tracce degli escrementi che i volatili avevano lasciato su tutta la parete esterna (quella che ospitava i tavoli esterni per colazione, pranzo e cena …). Il reparto Ristorazione è uno dei capitoli tristi di questa struttura. Il cibo era servito in stile “mensa aziendale, quindi quasi mai in quantità adeguata ai fruitori, costringendoli spesso a consumare cibo freddo o appena riscaldato. Etichette dei piatti maltitagliate su carta e appiccicate con il Pattafux au vetri, dove restavano sino al giorno seguente, e via così. La qualità, in alcune occasioni accettabile, nella maggior parte dei casi decisamente di basso livello e non certamente delle tanto decantate 4 stelle. Ma la nota decisamente peggiore, che a contribuito a guastarmi l’agognata e dispendiosa vacanza è stata l’animazione.
