Agriturismo San Cataldo

Booked this place after hearing about it on social media and word of mouth. It was nothing short of amazing. The views and atmosphere are very relaxing and it's an experience in itself living in nature with Mt Etna in the backdrop. The staff especially Filippo and Enza were amazing always trying their best (and sometimes going out of their way) to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The food was always freshly prepared, from their own produce, allowing you to enjoy all the natural goodness. The kids enjoyed playing in the play areas, milking the goats and riding the horses. The drive up to the place was very nice and let you take your time to take in all the nature. We will definitely be back and cannot wait to do so. A wonderful rural retreat with enough space to feel private. Delicious food, a four course meal with wine in the evening and generous buffet breakfast. With a warm welcome from Filippo and Rita. Views over Etna are amazing and the peacocks are lovely.

We absolutely LOVED our 4 night stay. What a beautiful and tranquil setting. We loved spending our days in the pool - our children played with their newly made holiday friends having the best time of their lives. The evening dining experience was like no other we’ve had on holiday - felt like being invited to a Sicilian family’s house for dinner. The most delicious food cooked by Rita and the warmest and most attentive hosting by Fillipo. And we got to watch the eruptions of Mount Etna. Such great value for money to have this included. The activities were great fun - we did archery and the adventure park, and got to see Rita making the ricotta cheese (which we then had for dinner that night!). So highly recommended- we’ll definitely be back.
