This hotel is truly unique and I would highly recommend staying here, for me our stay was faultless. The hotel is set in a historic monastery with the restaurant inside a cave with spectacular views across the sea & along the Amalfi coast. All of the staff were superb especially Italo, Vincenzo & Franco (who drives the shuttle bus). The food which was cooked by the hotel chef was fantastic, no menu just what is fresh that day! The shuttle bus runs regularly too & from Maiori so there is no need to worry about how to get to the town or back from it. Also, the beach club associated to the hotel is fantastic with great staff, food and drinks!! This really is a speail hotel, you won’t regret booking it!

What a fantastic hotel to cover everything you want in a holiday views out of this world must experience in real life as no photo can capture .Hotel have a shuttle bus to drop and pickup up so that's relaxing.lots of stairs so not the best if you have walking difficulties .Breakfast is a self service and is a mix of sweet and savoury . Staff are all lovely and will help with everything if you ask .Me and partner had a fantastic stay and it was great after a day exploring to return to the hotel for a peaceful relaxing night so delighted to have stayed in such a delightful hotel and hope to return one day .

What a beautiful setting! My husband and I just got back from a long bank holiday break staying at a beautiful monastery setting. We stayed at the Badia Santa Maria with its unique rooms and dined on the terrace overlooking the sea under a cave ..how romantic. The staff are so welcoming and kind. A big thank you to Vincenzo (manager);Italio; Franco (driver) Francesco(chef) and lovely Lucia who not only cleaned our room but also washed and hung our swimwear (which were full of sand!!) Thank you Lucia ..you looked after us like an Italian Momma!! the only slight negative was lack of neutral places to relax/read but we were offered free shuttle service to nearest town Maiori and free entry including loungers and towels to Beach club in Maiori. A big Thanks again Shaz & Rob

We had an amazing long weekend. It was like going back in time yet with some modern touches. The hotel is set in the side of a cliff and the restaurant in a real cave. The views from the bedrooms and the restaurant are dreamy. The beds were comfy, the air conditioning was welcomed and the shower was excellent. There were lots of small touches like drinks in the room, TV, hairdryer. We had a good breakfast every day and ate in the restaurant every night. It is really good value and we weren't easy being vegan. No menu, just ideas of what we might like. It was like having your own private chef. The shuttle bus went to town regularly and when we needed to go earlier we were accomodated. Two sunbeds were included at a local beach club. There was plenty to do in town and we hired a boat and went on the Lemon Tour. It was really authentic and the hospitality from the staff was lovely. Nothing too much trouble. Worth having Google translate handy. We look forward to another visit.

Not only was this one of the most unique, amazing accomodations I've ever stayed in, the staff was amazing as well. From checking in and finding a place to park the car, to the basically private dining experience on the terrace in a cave overlooking the Amalfi coast, badia went above and beyond to make our time in maiori amazing. Even at check out, the asked what our plans were for the day and coordinated a place to park and a beach umbrella for us so that our beach day was amazing as well.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and it was just the most magical place we have ever stayed. The building is an ancient monestry that has been converted to an 8 bedroomed deluxe hotel. The hotel has kept all its charm and has beautiful ornate features throughout. The views are absolutely breath taking, with all the natural beauty of the amalfi coastline. The staff, Vincenzo, Italyo, and Franco were a dream team. They made us most welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Always happy and helpful and very kind. We are already planning on coming back to Amalfi Coast and we will be booking a return trip to the best hotel we've ever stayed in, and we are very frequent travellers. Thank you Badia Santa Maria De Olearia, for making our trip full of happy memories.

Had an amazing and welcoming experience from start to finish. The hotel was beautiful and had a really traditional Italian feel. Our room was clean, spacious and had unbelievable views of the Sea and the Amalfi Coast. Breakfast had a good variety of food options and was delicious. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service which takes you to and from Māori Centre, the driver catered to our preference and was happy to drop off and collect us at whatever time was convenient for ourselves. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking into an Amalfi Coast getaway! Thanks again to the staff for making our experience a memorable one 😊

What an incredible little find this hotel was ! It is a very traditional Italian hotel built into the cliff edge. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful in every way they could through providing bus time tables and shuttle schedules. The grounds and surrounding areas are just stunning and breathe taking. Upon arrival as they were quiet they also upgraded our room which made it all the more special with the view outside our window. The breakfast was great and there was something for everyone. Housekeeping was every day which was also a lovely little touch. The only thing I would say as someone who didn’t know the area is plan ahead for your bus journeys as late at night it’s hard to get back and taxis are extremely expensive ! The bus service during the day is very reliable and frequent taking you to all the surrounding towns.

Loved every second of our trip. The hotel is stunning. Beautiful views from the terrace and loved our window in our bedroom and bathroom. Yes it is out the way a bit but we used the courtesy shuttle most of the time which was great. We got a taxi once and it was €25 from Maiori so plan your day and make the most of the shuttle bus. (It picks up/drops off right outside). Our room was gorgeous and the walk to our room was fab every time! Would definitely recommend
