We travelled to the TUI Blue Budoni in June 2025, we were slightly concerned after reading the latest reviews about the hotel on TripAdvisor as we had originally looked at and booked this hotel before it became a TUI Blue hotel . The highlight of the holiday for us was the food, it was great to see that TUI had kept an authentic Sardinia / Italian style menu for the majority of the food served in the restaurant and it was an refreshing change to have exciting and tasty dishes instead of normal bland international buffet that are the fare of a good percentage of A.I establishments. Another normal gripe of mine is that hotel hot drinks are quite often undrinkable, the coffee in all areas of the hotel were excellent. All the rooms seemed to be in a rustic Sardinian chalet style which we thought was quite charming. While not being the most modern room was more than adequate, the room was clean, and the bed comfy. The shower could do with being slightly bigger though. Some of the reviews complain about the service in the Restaurant and there were times that there wasn't a table that was set when you arrived but once the staff knew where you wanted to dine they immediately came over and set the table and took your drinks orders. In fact all members of the hotel staff that we met were very hard working, obliging and friendly and this is one of the reasons we thought so highly of the hotel. The hotel has an area on the nearby beach with sun loungers and Umbrellas. The location of the hotel as mentioned in previous reviews is in a quiet spot between the Marina and Budoni and both could be walked to in around 30 minutes. We enjoyed this but some might find it a little too remote. All in all , we loved our time in Sardinia and at TUI Blue Budoni. Thank you

We traveled as a family in May and had such a nice relaxing holiday. The airport transfer was an easy 25 minute drive. Check in was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in two rooms close the main building which was ideal. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the patio is lovely. The whole hotel has a lovely relaxed vibe. The beach is a five minute walk on a flat path, the sea is so clear with some rocky patches that make it great for snorkelling. There are plenty of sun loungers and a bar for drinks just before the beach. We enjoyed the swimming pool and it was never too busy, there is a bar and poolside food cart that serves lovely fresh food for lunch. The food in the buffet restaurant is fresh and so delicious with plenty of verity and some local dishes, the seating area is spacious and clean with great staff. There is a grab go by reception that has fruit, sandwiches and cakes available all day and evening. We enjoyed the evening entertainment at the bar with nice cocktails and good wine. We walked to port Ottiolu along the beach path, a 30 minute scenic walk. The marina is lovely with some nice restaurants and souvenir shops, a little shop for food and gelato cafes. If you want to explore further I would recommend car hire. We had such a lovely time and want to return. I would definitely recommend for a nice simple holiday

The hotel is set in a quiet area a few miles to nearest town and marina. Really nice little bungalows. Staff were incredibly friendly throughout the resort. Lovely pool, Lovely beach. The only downside is that the dining was chaotic. Tables weren’t cleared, no where to sit had to wait ages to be asked if you’d like a drink. There didn’t seem to be any organisation the staff however were incredibly friendly. We ended up cleaning and laying our own tables sometimes as we weren’t even acknowledged by the staff. Reading the other reviews I see this is a known issue at this hotel. The Food and drink were of really high quality though so no complaints about that. Definetly bring mosquito spray as they’re everywhere! I’d recommend Sardinia to anyone who wants a laid back chilled holiday.

This is not a 4 Star Hotel! If you have to clear your own dining table at every meal! Also eating amidst tables full of empty plates and food. They don’t tell you your 45 mins walk from the nearest small town, and it will cost a fortune in a cab (min euros25) Don’t be fooled by distance to bus stop, there were no buses in June, as it was not high season apparently! The beach is difficult to swim from due to rocks. They make you wear a wristband, but all guests are fully inclusive via TUI. The food was repeated and bland, and only annoying sachets if you wanted ketchup or mayonnaise. 18-30 type Disco music from Hotel over road EVERY DAY, very loud whilst your lying by pool, also building works in that hotel with Lorries back a forth all day. We had no hot water for a day due to a fault, with no communication on fix time. This is maybe a 3 star at most. I now think any TUI BLu starred hotel should have 1.5 stars removed from their rating to give you an accurate picture. Don’t forget you’ll also pay tourist tax of 40 euros for a 10 day stay too.
