Due Lune Puntaldia Resort & Golf

Hmmmmm. A difficult one this. The resort was lovely and the service and people also terrific. But…… the cost was very significant and so my review reflects that. For the price I paid, my expectations are high. With that: the rooms were pretty small for 3.5k for the week and our first room was directly underneath the restaurant so all we heard at meal times was scraping of chairs. But to be fair they did move us (fortunately they had the availability otherwise that would have been upsetting….). The private beach was nice although access in and out was a little difficult with the submerged rocks but minor point. The gym was really poor though. One multi gym unit (bench, lat pull down etc) but it was broken. There’s no excuse for that I’m afraid. Limited dining options with the one restaurant. The resort is quite secluded but arranging transport with taxis is a challenge. The location suffers too cos there’s not much around and the local area has three restaurants which were good but again very expensive cos it’s a captive audience and this is not a knock on the hotel but emphasizes the need for easy taxis (there is a bus service to be fair) and a decent gym. The golf course is only 9 holes and mostly par 3s but still very nice but again….very expensive. 60 euros for a green fee and that’s with the hotel discount. But look, it was still a very nice spot and the staff were truly wonderful but the price paid was way off what I was hoping to get in terms of facilities and rooms and overall experience. Sorry.

Beautiful place but need improve. The gym area it is not for a 5 stars review. It looked completely abandoned. A few machines dated and the only one treadmill does not work. Disaster. The girl at front desk said that we can go to run on the street.. so unbelievable.. the food was not as expected and the breakfast as well .. so limited. Trust me I am from USA the 5 stars hotels comes with an incredible breakfast buffet, this one was cheap !

Marco our bartender was amazingly helpful! All the staff were super efficient and the property is overall gorgeous!

Great location with outstanding service, especially at the lounge bar by Marco and his very professional and kind team. Having a drink on the bar terrace is worth the trip to Punta Aldia. You can find good hotels everywhere but people make the difference, always. We’ll come back to enjoy your drinks soon!

The location if this hotel is beautiful, very pretty with the gorgeous golf course , landscaping and coastal views. The food and drinks in the hotel are very expensive and they do not even provide a fresh water source. You will receive a bottle of fresh water on arrival and you’ll be charged for water for the duration of your stay. The bar staff in the hotel are wonderful, However we were not impressed by the breakfast /restaurant staff or food. We ordered food at The beach bar and realised why it was empty.. We were attacked by lots of wasps which completely ruined our lunch. On departure the hotel refunded this meal after we complained. Our bathroom had just been plastered.. whilst tidy the walls needed painting to finish off. We paid for a junior suite so expected this room to be immaculate. It was not. For us it needs much improvement to give the customer the 5* service it claims to deliver. Our advise is eat lunch & dinner in the marina .. The food there is excellent and much better value.
