This hotel marked the end of my time in the Dolomites, and was my favourite place to stay. The rooms are nice, but the real highlights are the quality of the food, and the service provided by the staff. Both the owner, Nikola, and another staff member really went out of their way to help with public transport options to a level that was uncommonly generous. As it turned out I needed to get away early, but without asking, the full breakfast was put out just for my departure. Mention needs to be made of the food anyway. The spinach dumplings and trout that I had for dinner were prepared with passion and skill, and it was a lovely meal. Breakfast was equally good. Nikola also took my request for a nice glass of white wine seriously, and what he offered was extremely good.
