Anchor Inn Beach House

Where else can you get a room on the water, then walk out the door to the cutest shops and restaurants? We had a fantastic stay. We got a suite with a sitting area which is well worth the upgrade. We had amazing views over the harbor. The bed was super comfortable and I slept really well, which is rare for me in a hotel. We were delighted to spend our evenings on the deck or the sofa, soaking in the views and the fresh sea air. The staff was great and the continental breakfast was all we needed. We will definitely be back!!

I have been to PTown quite a few times, but not since pre pandemic, and in that time the inn I used to frequent closed. So...I thought The Anchor Inn looked like a good replacement, and holy cow I am so glad I did! I can't speak highly enough about The Anchor Inn. The location is absolutely perfect. Right on Commercial Street and in the spot where if you turn in one direction you are right were all the restaurants, shops, bars, action, etc. is and if you turn in the other direction you are right in the quieter more residential part of town. Despite being in the heart of everything our room was quiet and we got the best sleep. Now, I think if you stayed on a lower floor or in a room facing Commercial Street that may not be the case, but our room at the end of the hallway on the third floor was just perfect. We had an amazing deck with the best view around! We hardly spent any time on it because there was so much else to do outside, but the view is unbeatable and you could watch the fireworks right from the comfort of our room on the 4th. I honestly didn't try the breakfast, so I can't speak to that, but my husband said that while it was pretty basic it was all that you needed, and right out our door you could get breakfast at numerous delicious places. I really can't think of anything negative to say about The Anchor Inn. The staff was all super friendly and attentive, though we hardly had reason or need to interact with anyone. Location can't be beat. Our room was large, and perfectly appointed for a beach vacation. If you are looking for super fancy this may not be the place for you, as there aren't any bells and whistles that other places may have, but honestly, with this location, view, etc. you don't need many other amenities. We almost want to book our next trip already! If/when we go back to PTown we will be sure to stay here. Thanks for a great week!

This sophisticated inn is conveniently located on busy Commercial Street, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and other attractions. The rooms are neat and crisply appointed. The large front porch and lobby have plenty of seating for enjoying coffee and continental breakfast or casual chats with friends. The inn was quiet for our stay midweek in the off season. Enjoyed waking up to a panoramic view of the harbor and pier from our balcony. Very convenient to be able to leave our vehicle parked in the lodge's private lot. Michael is a gracious host. If you need anything or have any questions, just ask.

The location is THE best in Provincetown, hands down. Rooms are bright and full of light, modern, and quaint. Chris goes out of his way to make sure your stay is perfect , constantly checking in on you. Everything feels very open, which compared to some of the other hotels in Provincetown, is quite a differentiator. The View is fantastic. Water bottles in the lobby are a nice touch, especially after a long day of walking. Ample parking. The Anchor Inn has it all.

We stayed at the anchor Inn beach house in August 2022. It was our 2nd time to stay in this lovely hotel. First time was during the off season a few years back. This time we went during peak season when prices are steep but expected for that period in ptown. We had the ocean view room like before. The location of this hotel can’t be beat . Staff is friendly and the place looks homey that’s why we love staying here. Breakfast is included and when we were there they served a quiche that was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Chris and Michael made us feel right at home. It was like spending our 4-5 days there with family.They were very helpful with places to go and things to do. They even made 1-2 reservations for us in town, and very friendly.I would recommend this place to anyone ! Can't wait for the next vacation there.

The setting is beautiful, Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The room was spacious and well appointed. the place was spotless and Chris was super helpful when the fireplace wasn’t cooperating. Will definitely be staying there again.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Amazing views of the harbor and perfect location to walk everywhere. Chris and Michael are great hosts. Always there to help and always have good ideas and suggestions for things to do around town. Favorite place to stay hands down in Provincetown. We will be back.

Truly amazing and the host are lovely. We had a top floor room with a balcony facing the water. This is true luxury compared to other inn's we've stayed in at P'Town. Clean and luxurious and friendly what more can you need :-)
