Nautilus Lanzarote

This was our SEVENTH time at Nautilus. It is always so clean and well looked after. The whole site is also an impressive art installation in and outside the apartments. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. We arrived on our wedding anniversary and the next day a chocolate cake and bottle of bubbly appeared in our apartment!! That was such a lovely surprise. Despite being very quiet and relaxing, walking distance to the shops, restaurants and promenade in Matagorda is only a few minutes walking. It really is a great location and is also perfect for mobility, wheelchair use around the site as well as to the seafront, shops and restaurants. I thoroughly recommend this as a very relaxing stay.

The hotel is in a great location just a very short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the staff helpful when approached. There is noise from the nearby airport but it didn't spoil our experience. Afterall it is stated in the hotel description that it's close to the airport. I would encourage people to clearly read hotel descriptions carefully before complaining about something that is plain to see in black and white. There is nothing wrong with this hotel and we will be returning in the near future!!

Fantastic location. Stunning setting. Surprisingly wide-ranging art gallery, art installations and gardens. Clean and well-appointed apartment. Great local amenities. Really refreshing to see such accessibility, particularly for wheelchair users.

Place is spotless. Ideally located with a small shop round the corner. Bars an seafront are between 5-10 mins depending on your walking capabilities. Really great setup up wheelchair users. We were B&B. eakfast was lovely. You even have the chance to have pancakes and hot breakfast items cooked freshly, just order when you go in. would def visit again.

Currently staying in the Oceanic Suite (Feb 10-22) I'm a partner in a very busy & socially demanding business and have come here with my husband for a well deserved break after our busiest period at work (Christmas & local festivals) and to celebrate our first wedding anniversary on the 14th. We chose Nautilus because I have read all the lovely reviews about how peaceful it is here. We're in our 40s, we're not party people and this is the most perfect hotel for 100% relaxation! It's quiet, no bar noises, no drunk neighbours arguing or kids running around screaming. We feel completely unbothered by anyone which is a first! Everyone that stays here seems to be respectful and considerate, unlike many other resorts! In the suite is a private garden where we can sit undisturbed and enjoy our own plunge pool. We also have private sunbathing on the roof where we get the sun all day. I find sunbathing comfortably around strangers quite difficult so this has made our holiday so much more enjoyable! The staff are fantastic, friendly & helpful, they will quickly sort out any problems you may have. Housekeeping is to a great standard! The grounds are well kept and beautifully clean. The apartment is spacious and beautiful. There's everything you need for self catering (although fantastic restaurants are mere moments away) There's a lot of lighting options, a plethora of plug sockets in any area you could think of including the outdoor areas! The shower facilities are great and our bed is extremely comfortable! We love it! I'm so happy we chose this hotel and we have many more days to enjoy it, I just couldn't wait to start my review because it's so nice here! I will most likely add to this before we leave.

This certainly isn’t for families. The apartment we had wasn’t the cleanest and when we brought this up with the rep we were told it was due to the calima. The pool was cold as expected but the life guard had no personality and was was not very welcoming of our child with ASD. The resort was very quiet not great for families. There was very little at the hotel either. It’s a great location for walking to Matagorda and lots of lovely places to eat. The staff were ok at best. Didn’t have much to say and weren’t as friendly as other places we’ve stayed. Our safe key was broken and they didn’t have a spare and insisted they had given us the key when they hadn’t. We were upgraded to a more substantial apartment as they said Jet2 didn’t give them the message that we needed a ground floor apartment. They told us they were fully booked however they weren’t anywhere near full the wheel time we were there.
