Hotel Plaza Palmeras

Great budget hotel,worth the money 100%. Staff are mostly lovely(Odd few non english speaking bartenders who came across as rude) Entertainment was 10/10 sam is such a great guy and had me in stitches he loves to keep everyone busy and laughing,Hotel room was cleaned often and was no problems with it at other than the sink plug not working and the shower either burning you alive or freezing you. Food was okay has lots of selection,reception staff were lovely and pool is well looked after. I would 1000% return the hotel is in such a good spot and is a great leg workout to get to Thankyou!!

We booked Plaza Palmeras as a Jet2 package, advertised as a “family-friendly complex with comfortable facilities.” The reality was shocking: loose handrails, faded safety tape around the outside areas, tired and worn out rooms with damaged dirty furniture, broken air con and rude staff and unhelpful staff. We had to pay 1 euro for a plastic cup and 3 euros a day for a safe! This is not the welcoming hotel described online. Jet2 refused to move us and we were forced to pay over £1,000 to relocate. Misleading advertising, unsafe conditions, and very poor customer service from Jet2 and the hotel. Jet2 have offered £115 compensation which is insulting and they claimed the hotel is up to their standard they would expect!!! Avoid!!!

Positives to the hotel Great location Nice large pool area Plenty of sun beds available Breakfast was quite good The air con in the room was good and worked well The daytime entertainment guy was a breath of fresh air . The hairdryer in the room was fantastic. My negatives The rooms were very tired and the cleaning was poor . We found a few very dodgy hairs around when we checked in ! The bathroom was quite nice and modern but the shower went from Baltic to lava hot in seconds !!! The sofa bed was heavily stained but luckily we didn’t need to use it . The balcony door didn’t close properly and was held together with brown tape . There wasn’t much shade around the hotel and nowhere nice to sit and have a drink except for a few plastic chairs around the pool bar . The hotel seemed to have zero personality about it . There was no where to leave your luggage as we were on a late flight except for in the middle of reception where anyone could take it . I asked for some clean glasses one day for the room and was given a resounding NO from the bar !! All in all I definately wouldn’t stay here again . It’s a shame as it could be really nice but it’s just been neglected and they definately need to sort the cleaning out . I also can’t comment on the food except for breakfast as we were only B and B .

Hello everyone, to be honest, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, it should be a 4 star hotel, but I would give it a maximum of 2. First of all, we came at 10 am, the room was not ready, I understood, but we did not have the opportunity to drink a coffee or even water, because after 1 pm we could benefit from the all inclusive service. The food selection was very poor, and I did not comment on the drinks, we are the third day here, there is no cleaning yet, the staff is rude, the same at the reception. This is definitely the last time we are here, we are very disappointed.

Positive: the food, the general cleanliness of the hotel, the spaciousness of the pool area and the friendliness of the management and restaurant team. Negative: the Wifi only reaches the entrance of the room, to watch movies on TV it is unstable. Overall I recommend it and, if the decoration is improved a little it is a place to repeat

We stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of November and found this hotel to be a great little base for exploring the area. Yes it’s in need of some updating but we found our room to be clean with fresh towels provided daily and as we were only staying on a B&B basis we weren’t in the room or hotel a lot. Breakfast had plenty of choice - we didn’t struggle to find something to eat. So many lovely bars and restaurants nearby that we didn’t want to be restricted to eating/drinking in the hotel. Less than a 10 min walk to the beach/restaurants/bars although on a slight hill. Being slightly off the Main Strip means it was lovely and quiet at night.
