Hotel Las Costas

Fijn hotel, prima gelegen vlak bij het brede strand en niet ver van de gezellige boulevard van Puerto del Carmen. Hebben een prachtig zwembad voorzien van enigszins verwarmd water. Kamers zijn mooi en ruim, alleen wij hadden helaas een kamer met terras met uitzicht op het dak van de eetzaal. Aangezien het hotel volgens de receptie vol was konden we helaas geen andere kamer krijgen. Het ontbijt is goed en uitgebreid, het diner was wat minder m.n. doordat er beperkte keus was qua hoofdgerechten . Personeel in restaurant is zeer vriendelijk.

Just returned from a fabulous 11 night holiday. We had a room with a side sea view lovely spacious room, walk in shower (rooms with a bath also available), mini fridge, microwave, safe (extra charge). Spacious terrace with 2 chairs, table and 2 sun loungers. Always loungers around the pool. The usual suspects reserving sun beds before 9.00 despite notices. Entertainment was good and lovely lounge area. Prices for drinks very reasonable 3.50 euros for a large beer (excellent beer). We were half board and the food was delicious plenty of choice and vegetarians well catered for. The staff were very friendly. Stand out was Renata on reception who arranged for our daughter who was staying for part of our holiday to have a room near ours. The hotel is closing in the spring for refurbishment and I hope the staff get some clarity soon on what will be happening to them when it closes as it is causing them some anxiety. It was really nice to see the staff really enjoying their jobs and hope they can return when the hotel reopens. The hotel is in fabulous location just near the beach and at the quiet end of the *****. We are planning to return next October.

Sea view room are the best room ever.the room are big bathroom very clean .just the bed 2 single I would prepare 1 double bed .doesnt matter I still give 5 star.location is excellent .it's stunning garden around the hotel.customer service are excellent .highly recommended

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We were a family of 4 (4 year old and 1 year old) and the hotel was lovely! Our plan was to go for meals out, however the food was lovely and we only ended up going out twice. Lots of variety and lots of fresh meat cooked in front of you. Pools were fantastic for both of them. My little boy went to the kids club most mornings which he did colouring with but enjoyed it. Mini disco was cute. Rooms were lovely and I loved the little private garden. It was perfect, and when my little girl had a nap you could still sit in the sun. Location was lovely - 15 minute walk to bars/restaraunts. Beach was lovely and so nice having the access swim as my little boy and husband went off to swim in the sea. Couldn’t fault the hotel it had everything we needed and we loved our stay. All of the people that worked there were so accommodating.

What a holiday. It was amazing from check in with Ulrika to check out 10 days later. The check in was smooth and very informative with Ulrika and then the porter took our cases and showed us too our room, which was spotless and large and in a great position. Breakfast and dinner were great with lots of choice. And fresh eggs made to order were great. The pool bar was fantastic as were the staff especially Carlos and Aythami. So professional but very good and an asset to the hotel, never stopped working. We will definitely return to this beautiful island and hotel again. Thank you for the perfect hospitality.

Have being returning to this hotel since 2010, And love it.The staff are all friendly from reception to household cleaning to the gardeners and it’s been great to see the same staff there year after year.The food was as good as ever,with everybody’s taste catered for.The location is just perfect with access to the beautiful beach of los picillos on your door step.

Lovely hotel, lovely breakfast, lovely room ( we were upgraded) staff were nice. Hotel was on the beach which we loved and there's so many places to eat and drink just outside the hotel. We are going again next year because it was just so nice,we hired a bed in the hotel close to the swimming pool and you get the sun all day long and the privacy of your own double sunbed which was great, overall it was just lovely, also you can walk and walk on the beach as it's a few miles long and the water is so clean 😀

Hotel is very well positioned with easy access to the beach. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was, however, quite hard. The food was good although the desserts could have been more varied. Staff were efficient and polite. As a solo guest there were few times when I felt ignored especially when coming in for dinner waiting to give an order for drinks. I think staff need to be more welcoming of solo travellers. A special thank you to Rosa who cleaned the room and hopefully her cart will not escape again. She will know what I mean! All in all it was a lovely stay in a lovely hotel. I will certainly return once the refurbishments are done. Thank you.

Would highly recommend this hotel, the rooms were spotless and very spacious, the grounds were very well kept a credit to the grounds people, we had breakfast and there was a decent choice in the morning, did not have dinner in the hotel so cannot comment. Ideally located next to the beach and with easy access to same. Pool area is very clean and we had no problem getting sunbeds as they cannot be reserved before 9am, even if the pool area was busy (never was) each room has 2 sun beds on their terrace, another big plus. My wife and I really enjoyed or stay and would highly recommend this hotel. We will get back there again real soon.
