Suite Hotel Montana Club

9 night stay. Staff were very friendly, room and facilities very clean. Local Spa shop within a minutes walk. 5 minutes to the main strip. Sadly our room had a very poor view, the back of the bar area, no sunlight to the balcony because of this, so the view was limited. Room 216 for reference. Kitchen facilities very basic, one hob with two rings and a microwave, no oven. Not sure how a family would cater here. TV didn’t work for a few days of our stay. Ordered one soft drink and a beer and was charged €17! Take no notice of ‘no reserving sunbeds’ because nobody else does. Pool area needed some music. No complaints about staff or friendliness, or the resident cat!

Hotel was very good, a little pricey on food and drink so ate away from the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful Room was excellent we were in 229 and I would say the rooms on that side appear to be more modern or recently renovated. Pool area was spotless cleaned every morning, however the pool area was spoiled by the sun bed hogs who feel the need to get up at the crack of dawn to put their towels out, and then go out all day and never bloody use it!! you know who you are and sadly you’re all Brits as the hotel was as far as I could tell full of Brits, when will this pathetic practice end, there are enough sun beds to go round. The hotel even says it’s strictly forbidden but then does nothing, should just go round collect all the towels and throw them in the pool…Pathetic.

Positives - well placed in quiet area but easy 10 minute walk to seafront. Two pools, one adult only, never busy. Breakfast included. Newly refurbished room was a good size and very nice. Negatives - Biggest negative was outside space at Room 126 which felt like a prison courtyard. Set down slightly and facing straight onto road with lots of camper vans on it. Some attempt had been made to provide privacy (with bars and bamboo fencing) but the only reason we used it was to dry washing. No sun either. Only other window looked directly onto a peeling wall. Room 125 next door was similar. Slight irritations - We tried to get a breakfast coffee 10 minutes before opening time as we had an early excursion and given a very blunt refusal, although we could smell the coffee brewing. Room not cleaned every day but tbh that wasn't really a problem for us.

We stayed here 3 years ago and really enjoyed it so decided to return. We are in the refurbished side and the apartments are modern and fresh. They are spotlessly clean and the staff are fantastic. The Montana is set off the strip in a quiet location but a five minute walk takes you to the centre of things with lots of bars and restaurants. A lovely relaxing stay. I'll be back The swimming pool is heated and refreshing.

Just returned from Montana after a wonderful week’s stay! Arrived late morning and was able to check in immediately which was great! lovely reception welcome, all staff are so nice and you can see they all work so hard! We had a top floor room on the newly refurbished side which was a wonderful room, had the sun all day. Rooms are very spacious, clean and tidy. Fabulous walk in shower which is very powerful! Kitchen had kettle, toaster and plenty of cutlery, plates and glasses etc! It was also nice to have a washing up sponge, fairy liquid and tea towel supplied which many apartments don’t! Sofa in lounge is very comfy and pulls out as sofa bed if required! The pool was cleaned every day and had lovely padded sun loungers! The whole complex is spotless and all staff work hard, constantly to maintain it. The pool bar is large and open until midnight every day. Good choice of food and drinks! Large TV’s which shows all sports. Location of apartments are approx 5-6 mins walk to main strip (opposite the casino), great location. The First and Last Bar and La Cana on the road down to strip are great bars and would recommend! There is a Spar just by apartments which is well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again, one of the nicest complex’s we have stayed in, in PDC. If I had some feedback for Montana it would be, update your bathroom towels! They are old, thin and after a day really needed changing! Apart from that I have no complaints!!

WARNING. the middle rooms behind the bar area has a 24 hour AC BUZZING AWAY ALL DAY, if you are a light sleeper & are given rooms in the centre, be warned, and to add insult to injury the heated pool has the boiler kicking in every few minutes, and this bugger is loud too, I certainly wouldn’t return myself.
