Vik Hotel San Antonio

Have stayed here many many times as its a fantastic hotel, great location delicious food brilliant entertainment especially on the Sunday evenings. Staff are friendly and helpful looking forward to my next stay next month.

When arriving at this hotel. It looks a little old fashioned, but this is all part of the charm. A concierge took our bags to our room, and when we checked in and asked about the safety deposit box in the room, that is included in the price. Wi-Fi is also free. When we got to our room. It was lovely and clean. There was a bottle of water supplied and it was replenished every day. There was a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities which were also replenished each day. The food was very good. They have theme nights eg. Chinese, Italian, Indian. There is plenty of choice and plenty of room. The all inclusive snacks are great if you don't want to eat in the dining room. You sit down and are waited on and the staff will make you pizza, burgers Toasties, ice cream etc. The entertainment is aimed mostly at the older generation, and you sit down and are waited on with the drinks which are excellent,even the all inclusive guests. There are two pools, one being an infinity pool and a children's pool, also there are plenty of sun beds and seating areas. We had a great week and would definitely return.

We returned for the 4th time to this hotel and it just gets better. This time we stayed all inclusive for the first time and wow it was so worth it. All drinks were available all inclusive- decent brands, gorgeous food and the service is so much better! All the staff are so friendly much friendlier than years ago it was really noticeable. The hotel is situated in a lovely part of Puerto del carmen with a shop opposite and bars a few minutes away / right in the beach. The only 4 things to improve in my opinion to bring it up to a 5 star would be more plug sockets in room (none next to bed), improved WiFi and some comfy cushions on sun loungers along with double beds instead of 2 joined single beds. These are minor points though the hotel is lovely, traditional with gorgeous food, nice pools and good entertainment.

Our first time in Lanzarote and our first time in San Antonio hotel. Location from airport was only 20 mins. Arrived at a very nice open and warm reception area. Lovely staff who welcomed us. Absolutely great hotel.our room was on 2nd floor and had a lovely view of tennis courts and partial sea view. Our room was immaculate and cosy. Good air conditioning. Safe available at small cost each week. Bad point is if you want to use the fridge you must pay for it unless you have a medical condition where meds have to kept in a fridge and then there's no cost. Breakfast very nice every morning Unfortunately the dinner time food was personally not for me. No shortage of sun chairs, 2.decent swimming pools and a lovely kiddies pool. There's a back gate that leads out to the beach.Must use your key card to get back in the gate. Hotel is kept very clean to be fair. Nice bar and only fair entertainment which you normally get for a hotel. Hotel itself only few mins walk to various shops,bars etc. We would recommend staying here. I would personally like to say thank you sincerely to the hotel rooms cleaning staff who keep our room immaculate every day. That meant so much to us. Thanks San Antonio. ❤️

Just got back from our 11 night stay at the Vik Hotel San Antonio and have to say we were a bit sceptical after reading the reviews but we shouldn’t have worried. The hotel was kept in very clean conditions and i would say it’s more traditional than old fashioned which some people had mentioned in their reviews. The maids always came in and made the beds and cleaned the room and they were also very friendly. Also read that some people thought the reception and bar staff were unfriendly which i don’t think is true either. While we didn’t have much interaction with the bar staff since we were half board instead of all inclusive, they were always friendly when we did talk to them. There was evening entertainment every night except Sunday which wasn’t always to our taste but it was different every night. Sun-beds could be a bit annoying since some people put their towels on them and then didn’t turn up until late afternoon so some people may struggle to get one if they come later in the day however it was never a problem for us. The evening meals can get quite repetitive since its buffet food and for us we are quite fussy eaters so there wasn’t always lot of option. However there was always different foods such as Indian and Chinese food so if you like that then you will be fine. The distance to the main beach in puerto del carmen is quite a walk but there is a very nice smaller beach just along from the hotel which is easily accessible. If you are half board it may be worth keeping a check of what you order in the hotel since you get charged with a bill at the end of your stay which can get a bit confusing if you cant remember what you have ordered. Overall i would recommend this hotel as there is something for everyone and in a nice location.

Love this hotel. Staff are excellent location fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Very relaxing went last year then again in July this year. Food had really improved and the warmth and care from the staff was lovely. A guest had a bad fall while we were there staff were amazing we hope he is ok. Hotel also managed a euros final very well with choices for people to watch entertainment or 2 TVs one in English one in Spanish. Thanks to all for a lovely week. Wonderful hotel, brilliant staff, good choice of food in restaurant. Two swimming pools plus children's one. Could always get a sunbed, and tables at the pool bar always available. Evening entertainment. 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Direct access to beach with rocky shore but 5 minutes walk along to a fantastic sandy beach.

Our first visit to Vic San Antonio hotel, and overall we loved our stay. We didn't think it was 'dated' but more 'traditional'. Our room was a sufficient size for our needs, well maintained every day by the very pleasant and seemingly happy, cleaning ladies. Only wish there were tea/coffee making equipment. Shower, shampoo, toilet soap, shower cap, comb etc provided, a nice touch. There was a bath with shower over, we would have preferred a room with just shower, which I believe are available. If we return, which is highly possible, we will request one, as my husband felt unsure getting in and out of the bath. Only negative, bath towels very rough!!! Grounds were well looked after, plenty of sunbeds, despite the usual towel leavers every day! Meals were excellent. I am very fussy and unadventurous with food, meat, tatties and veg suit me, and, as proved by my weight gain on scales this morning, I ate well! Special menus from around the world, too, and plenty of various other choices. Restaurant staff smart, efficient and friendly though too busy to chat much.Dress code requested but generally ignored. Only criticism, the food was frequently only lukewarm, rather a disappoint considering it was all so tasty. Entertainment fairly good, and geared towards the older generation. Yes, the clientele whilst we were there, were the older age groups (we are 82!!), but maybe during the school holidays, much younger visitors. There is a mini club and children's pool, so probably activities for them at appropriate times of the years. I didn't think to ask about WiFi, and didn't realise it was available for free. Televisions set up for the Euros, and my husband only grumble that wasn't available in English There is a good possibility we will be back. The overall standards that we experienced in the: VIK DAN ANTONIO HOTEL, Puerto Del Carmen, Lanzarote, were excellent. From the lovely receptionists: Denise & Anna; The lady who carried out the daily room service, Sylvia; & The bar staff, in particular, Juan & Tomas; Each member of staff, with the exception of one bartender, went out of their way to make sure that our needs were fulfilled! Indeed, when we did encounter a bartender who was not as professional as they could have been, when we did encounter this, a meeting with the General Manager of the VIK SAN ANTONIO HOTEL RICARDO, got the issue resolved in a very polite, amicable and professional manner. Such was our satisfaction with our experiences, at the: VIK SAN ANTONIO Hotel, Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, where we stayed for 14 nights, All Inclusive, such was the excellent hospitality of the hotel staff, we have booked a return journey to this wonderful hotel, in September 2024, and we are very excited about the prospect of returning to this lovely hotel!
