Apartamentos Villa Canaima

Really well equipped apartments. All utensils, even cork screw, only missing egg cups. Apartments are. Like new and spotless. Kettle, microwave, oven, grill, hair dryer. Kitchen cleaning products and cloths. Big fridge freezer woth ice tray. Shampoos. Big thick towels, walk in shower. Fresh filtered water on tap to fill your flask Spare pillows, comfy mattresses Warm air con for evening. Free safe! Huge corner couch, flat screen TV with HDMI inputs for fire stick. Good signal with vodaphone for netflix or use free WiFi. Spacious private balconies with reclining chairs. No card in slot nonsense so you can leave things charge if you pop out. This place gives more than it takes. Lots of steps if on top floor but excellent disabled access to pool from ground floors. Lift goes to floor two. We were on floor 3. I use a walking stick but the hand rails are very strong so managed. Pool Area - Spotless Sa Miguel e3 a pint, cocktails 2 for 10e Fantastic menu at pool bar. Large portions. San Miguel just 3 euros a pint. 10 minute walk to centre, with every type of restaurante, 2 Irish bars for footy. Recommend the Japanese and book La Carmencita del Puerto. 8 euros for taxi to Porta Del Carmen Harbour. 12 to 15 to airport. This place is a returner! Spent 5 nights at Villa Canaima. Had late flights so reception was closed but we had great comms with the location prior to arrival and we were able to check-in prior to arriving and received directions and details of where our room was and the key code for entry - all went like clockwork Location is about a mile from the airport so might have been cheaper to get a taxi than use the shuttle bus Location is very quiet - amazingly so - which we loved. Small complex with about 30 rooms. All very clean and the self catering kitchens were kitted out really well with everything that we needed and room had large TV with large selection of channels - approx 10 channels per country. Shared pool with loungers but was almost always completely free during our stay - pool clean and refreshingly cold View from balcony was great - we were on top floor had great views out over the sea 5 min walk from a range or restaurants and shops and the beach, and 30 min walk from main built-up area of Puerto Del Carmen (could have taken buses but we didn't) Staff were very friendly and helpful We had a great stay and highly recommend the location

2nd visit to Villa Caniema and it was great. This is a beautifully maintained and professionally run location and we will defiantly be returning on our next visit to Matagorda. Apartments are very spacious and have everything you would need.
