Massive and clean rooms! Breakfast is good. Staff are really friendly and helpful - they arranged Tuktuk for us daily because we were diving at Sabang Area. If you’re here to dive around Sabang Area, then it’s quite a distance. They have their own dive shop too if you prefer that.

娘と2人で日本から訪問しました！ 英語の流暢ではない私たちなので、プエルトガレラへの道中も、ホテルに着くまでも、とても不安でしたが、ホテルについてからはホテルのスタッフがみんな助けてくれたので、何も不安なことはなく快適に過ごすことができました！ 場所もアクティビティーも食べ物も人も犬も猫も、全てが最高でした！ 日本人はとても少ない場所ですが、是非機会があれば、日本からプエルトガレラに♡そしてエッジウォーターホテルに行って欲しいなぁと思います！

Edgewater has exactly the right mix of laid-back vibes and luxury. There is nothing pretentious about it, yet it has every comfort and amenity. We chose their premier sea suite for a ten day diving trip, and that room was wonderful: spacious, open, full of light, with a huge bathroom, spotlessly clean. We also chose the half board plan, which afforded us very generous meals in their open-air restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The food was fresh and delicious. Originally we had thought we’d go into Sebang or Puerto Galera for dinners, but we never ended up doing this. It’s not really walkable from the resort (no sidewalks and a narrow road). Although tuktuks are cheap and readily available, we enjoyed the food where we were, and wanted to just relax after diving all day. So we’d generally just ask the talented chef Roman what he was excited about cooking that night, and we’d go with that. The staff at this resort went out of their way to make us happy. They are kind, attentive, eager to please, and clearly happy to be there. We were also impressed with the dive staff, led by Marlon, who took great care of us. Groups were never larger than four divers per divemaster, and they sorted us by experience level so advanced divers weren’t constrained by the limitations of new divers. The diving was great, despite some wet and windy weather that narrowed choices for dives site in some days. We took advantage of the massages offered, which were in a sheltered but open air setting and were an incredible value by our standards. I think a 90 minutes massage was about $27 U.S. per person, and they were very good. We’d go back to Edgewater in a heartbeat - it is a very special place.

I cannot recommend Edgewater enough. It truly is a gem and a fantastic place to stay for those who like to scuba dive, or those who are interested in learning. My husband and I stayed at edgewater last year, and had such a great experience that we returned this year, and it was even better the second time. We just completed our advanced open water course with Paul, who is a fantastic instructor. He customized the course to focus on the skills we wanted to work on, and gave us the confidence to try more challenging dives. The dive masters were all great, prioritizing safety and still making sure to point out all kinds of marine life that I otherwise would have missed. We have to give a special shout out to the dive master Larry, who was truly phenomenal. We had a few dives where it was just my husband, Larry, and I, and he took us on more challenging and truly unique dives. The hotel owners Vika and Richard really care about making sure all of the guests have a good experience, and it was nice to see many of the same staff again from our first trip. I would also like to give a shout out to Jeff, who was truly exceptional in the quality of service at the bar / restaurant. I strongly recommend booking a day trip to Verde Island, where the quality of the dive sites is even better than the local sites. Its best if you can split the boat costs with a few others at the hotel, which the hotel staff can arrange. We will definitely try to come back again!

Lovely relaxing week with great dives. Fantastic diving and BBQ at Verde Island. Really looked after by all staff Located in a hidden mangrove bay with a bar/restaurant with views, great food and cocktails. Spotless room Highly recommended

Could not have asked for a better experience. Service, food and diving were all five star. On top of that, the staff was friendly and we felt like family by the end of our visit. Would highly advise for serious divers and casual visitors alike.

This wonderful place never disappoints. The rooms are clean, restaurant is good and the Dive facility is amazing. All of these won’t be possible without the awesome and caring employees and owners behind it. My wife and I have been coming back since 2019 in this magical place. They all make sure your experience is a great one.

There are numerous spectacular dive sites close to Edgewater, and our dive masters, Jun and Billy were great. The owners, Richard and Vika were very welcoming, and even cooked us dinner one night! We had an overall amazing experience and would love to come back.

Edgewater is an absolute gem! The location overlooks a beautiful inlet and there is always a gentle breeze that makes handing out on the restaurant balcony enjoying a beverage or a meal with the other friendly guests extremely pleasant. For divers, there are so many beautiful dive sites just a few minutes away, and the dive masters make this a great experience for both novice and experienced divers. Even if you are not a diver, you will have an amazing time. The staff and service are impeccable. They helped us arrange transportation between the airport in Manila to the ferry and then had a pick up for us from the port in Puerto Galera. Lastly, getting to know the owners Richard and Vika made the experience even more memorable. They are both down to earth and incredibly nice. Richard even made a home cooked dinner for us one of the evenings. Would definitely be back and you should do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort has secured a spot in the top 5 of our travel list due to its exceptional location, accommodation, and staff. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were greeted with warmth and received outstanding care. The owners, Richard and Vika, are present almost daily and display a genuine interest in their guests' well-being. Richard, being a passionate diver, provided us with valuable advice on dive spots and answered all our related questions. Thanks to him, we had incredible dives. Billy and Jun, the dive masters, took excellent care of us and introduced us to a variety of dive locations. The resort's convenient proximity to everything made our stay even more enjoyable. Speaking of accommodation, what you see is exactly what you get at Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort. We were delighted to find two spacious and clean rooms equipped with air conditioning and fans. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. Additionally, we indulged in the outdoor spa, which added to our overall relaxation. We cannot praise the hotel and restaurant staff enough. Jeff and his team made sure we never went hungry. The food was not only delicious but also served with a warm and friendly attitude. Our child especially loved the attention he received. In terms of managing expectations, it's important to note that the resort does not have a beach right on its premises. However, this was not an issue for us as they have a lovely little pool, and with only 12 rooms, it never felt crowded. It's worth mentioning that food preparation may take some time, so it's advisable to place your order ahead of time if you're in a hurry. The resort's slightly secluded location was something we appreciated, as it provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Despite this, the hotel staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as effortless and convenient as possible. They are more than willing to assist with booking boats for beach tours, arranging tuktuks, or any other transportation needs. We enjoyed our stay at Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort so much that we have already made plans for our next visit. A big thank you to the entire Edgewater team for making our experience truly memorable.

We had an amazing stay at Edgewater Resort. Everything was perfect. The service, location, cleanliness, food, … We also enjoyed the massages, beach hopping, and inland trips. Heaven on Earth. We will come back next year. Totally recommended!
