Reasons for my 1 star review: -This is not an all inclusive resort this is a time share/ apartment complex -The wifi didn't work for 3 days and we had to call and follow-up repeadetly to get it fixed -The room service menu was limited the only thing that tasted halfway decent were the chicken fingers and burgers. -House keeping kept coming at random times to clean the room it was never consistent and because they didn't have the keys we had to be present at the room form them to clean. -At one point they turned the water off on us and we had to call and follow-up several times to get the water turned back on that day. Not to mention the water was never truly hot the entire time we were there.

This place is basically an apartment complex with a pool. You are renting an apartment. Every apartment is different depending on the owner. The room that we saw online must have been a model apartment but nothing like what we got. The meal plan is a joke! Lunch and dinner included but the same menu in one small restaurant. There are only 4 entrees on the menu. The pizza was the only thing that was edible. The “drink menu” was rum and coke only. Only one drink per meal. NO entertainment and no food drink music etc at the pool. Definitely not a place to go for a family vacation! After 2 days of arguing with management about misrepresentation we left and went to an all inclusive resort and enjoyed the rest of our vacation.

Great Time Very Relaxing DeYanira the manager of the hotel was most helpful and made it so enjoyable. Ramon (Restaurant Manager) and Bryas (Asst Mgr) were very friendly and made our meals that much more enjoyable. Joygersy and Edilicia the servers were also very helpful. Already planning on returning since this stay was so enjoyable thanks to all those mentioned

We’ve reserved a two bedroom but got a one bedroom apartment. There are mandatory surcharges for food $50/person with the same 6-7 dishes menu every single day. Alcohol and drinks other than coke are not included. Uh… in addition, breakfast IS NOT INCLUDED in those $50 per person per day. There is no grocery shopping anywhere close. We went to some bodega and bought 4 eggs for the price of golden eggs. There’s also mandatory surcharge for cleaning $75 per person a day! BUT! They only give you 2 towels. I had to come and scream at them to get more towels. There’s no shampoo, no body wash, no literally ANYTHING! There’s also a mandatory surcharge for electricity of $100. All and all, if you add up everything together it’s going to be a very expensive stay of over $1,000 per person. You can multiply it by the number of people in your group. In addition, there’s really nothing here at the Rivera Azul - no sports, no gym, no entertainment, no spa, really NOTHING. If you need anything you need to look elsewhere and it’s not easy - there’s literally no directions for anything. I didn’t give it a single star because I liked the ocean and the beach. Everything else leaves much to desire.
