Calypso Boutique Apartments

Hidden gem! Would recommend you go tomorrow. I booked this apartment for 11 nights for me and my husband. If you are looking for peace and quiet in the sunshine then this is for you! We had apartment 306 which I would recommend if you wanted a little more privacy as you’ll be on the top floor at the end. Balcony with a sea view, bathroom lovely and clean. Just left alone to enjoy our holiday for ourselves. If we come back to Gran Canaria I would definitely come back to these apartments.

We stayed from 01.11-01.12 in Apt 304.There had been water damage in the apt with flaking paint in moldings,kitchen ventilator broken= firealarm,cockroaches at pool,squatters in building next to apt,.Have traveled with my Apple box for 5 years and been able to connect to WIFI on site to be able to continue to watch paid for series.It was blocked by owner because he selling the same content.Have also mentioned this in booking.com,but owner continues to explain everything away. No fixed reception hours.When fire alarm went off,it took 30 min to stop it.

We have just come back from a week's stay at these apartments . We booked a one bed apartment room no 203. We have really enjoyed our stay from start to finish . We especially chose this as was adult only apartments. Great contact from the hosts prior to check in and super easy instuctions on how to check in as reception not always manned . Lovely modern apartment with everything you need in it , plenty for what we needed but we didn't cook in the apartment at all as it was our choice to always eat out and support local businesses. The Pool area was lovely, very clean, plenty of sunbeds although as always a few reserved stupidly early morning with no need to, but thats not an issue with the hosts thats the guests that were super possessive as to what beds they wanted . Sun nearly all of the day there until about 430 pm at least. The pool and surrounding apartment areas were cleaned twice in the time we were there. Not noisy at all so quiet and thats what we enjoyed ! . The only thing to note is of you have mobility issues it's quite a walk up and down a lot of steps but can always take a taxi for about 4 euros. we knew about the steps beforehand so were fine with it as we are an active couple too. The apartments have a beautiful view over the harbour. Some restaurants and supermarket not far away at all. The apartmentd also have laundry facilities which we used for free. We would most definitely book in here again when we come to puerto rico in the future . Thank you calypso for a lovely stay :)
