Gloria Palace Amadores Thalasso & Hotel

Isabel was the kindest. The hotel is wonderful. The food was good. The pool is also beautiful. Maybe the room just needs renovation. The hotel is 20 years old and a long break is needed to bring the hotel to a new level. October is a wonderful month to travel to this hotel. It is not very crowded and you always have a place in the pool and restaurant.

Isabel was really nice to us, we got what we needed, she was really kind and lovely. Hotel was so pretty and our Stay was like in heaven. It was our honeymoon and we celebrated like we wanted to, we got our Champagne like welcome gift which was really nice and kind.

First time staying at this hotel and our first impressions are Wow. Small problem at reception when allocating us our room but quickly resolved. Stayed in Block 3 and the room was huge lovely and clean with a large balcony with a view to die for. We stayed half board and thought the food was first class always lots of options available. Big shout out to Isabel from the Lobby bar who looked after us throughout our stay. Highly recommended this hotel to anybody who’s thinking about coming we will definitely be returning next year.

Most beautiful hotel with amazing infinity pool with views staff were amazing room was massive and excellent service and clean the beds and mattress were best I've ever slept on the restaurant and selection of food was outstanding this hotel is more a 5 star than a 4 and I will be returning for sure thank you Gloria palace for a wonderful holiday xx

We had a great Service at the Bar in our stay and Isabel is very friendly and makes a really good service. Also very helpful when you have a question! The most friendly employee for us in the entire hotel so far. Looking forward to see her again next year. Also the Hotel is very beautiful, nice food and clean pools. Highly Recommend this great hotel. The Pool is clean and have a nice view because its an infinity Pool. You can relax during the day, no loud music or noise, no party at night and i love that because i get a peaceful sleep and rest at night and also during the day its very relaxing.

We booked a sea view room months in advance as a package holiday with TUI. We arrived at the hotel around 10pm & checked in. We were horrified by the room we were given (2001A), the views were of a 12 foot high wall, probably the worst in the whole hotel. We returned to reception, the staff were told that it was unacceptable. They apologised but said nothing could be done, as all rooms were booked. I pointed out that many more people were checking in, to be told “ they’ve booked their rooms” My reply of well so did I book a sea view room! Was met with incompetent looks & actions. We were asked to use that room for the night & return in the morning, so see what other rooms were available. We returned in the morning at, to be met with confusion, no information had been passed on, it seemed the previous shift had just fobbed us off, in the hope the next shift would sort it out. Eventually after sitting in reception for 3 hours with our suitcases, we were given a better room, with a sea view. The majority of reception staff seemed Inexperienced & just not bothered. The hotel itself is nice and situated in a good place, but we will not return

Loved our stay , great staff, lovely food, spotlessly clean , infinity pools to die for, brilliant location 10 mins walk to peurto rico and 20 mins walk the other way to a cracking beach, the only negative was the reception which was painfully slow but that was it . Will definitely be returning in the future .We'll done to all the staff for making our stay so lovely

Gloria Palace Amadores*****for us Anyone who can't decide where to say I can not recommend above enough. Sea view from any angle of the hotel, view from pools is breathtaking, waiters and waitresses do anything to please, very friendly and initiating with children too. Cleaniness throughout, rooms and balcony are decent size, food delicous with good selection, with sea view again. Puerto Rico beach is 5 mins walk where we only went to bazar shopping but Amadores 10 mins only too- took it couple of times with a 9 and 3 years old on footpath along the ocean which was itself an entertainment. Hotel is child friendly too, entertainment throughout the day with fitness in water, games at times and at night from 8.pm to 12.am is live music, dance, show, mini disco. We took the bus from airport and back, 45 mins and convenient, although until you checked in and get the card for the elevator entrance there is a very short but steep walk. After that you can use the elevator which takes you down to walkway along the ocean. It was perfect from every aspect.

Huge hotel...amazing view from the room...very good location..good food...is worth the price, definitely will be back next year as well, absolutely nothing to complain just maybe is to busy the reception..but the rest was amazing all together
