Las Villas de Amadores

Accommodation was ok. But other than that, nothing there. Absoulty nobody In the hotel at all the whole 2 weeks we where there. Very weird. There wwe a tiny little shop that was expensive. If you don't like hills to walk up?, isn't the place for you

Be careful! Really bad service! We forgot two jackets in the room. We call them many times to ask if they could send them to us for our account. They said they had them, but they never send the jackets. The place is in the middle of nowhere. The quality of accomodation is low.

Amazing views really recommend . No mini bar by the ball but shops at everywhere in amadores so not hard to get snacks and drinks . Pool is kind of small but deep and they have a little jacuzzi . Also there’s a very cute cat that wanders in and out of the villa !!!

Positive stuff-really helpful and polite staff, great views, although 1km down very steep hill to shops and beach . Clean and bright. Apartment 446 Negatives- apartment's are tired, shower cubicle made of breeze blocks and stained with mould ,poor linen-sometimes with holes, very intermittent wifi. water leaks from electric light fitting and wall in bathroom & induction hob had to call maintenance 3 times to get it going.! Basic & minimal cooking utensils. Stayed the whole Jan 24 - requested a large balcony -given one so small two sunbeds could not be accommodated Fabulous holiday but overall 5 out 10 for apartment. Sorry Chic apartments -cannot recommend these villas.

We chose this accommodation as we were travelling with two 14 year old boys & wanted a bedroom for them & one for my wife & I. We were not disappointed as the apartments are spacious & very well laid out. There is air con in the lounge, which was sufficient for the time we stayed, however it may not be in July & August. There is a housekeeping service 5 days out of 7 which is more than suffcient & the only negative was the shower which was not very powerful. There is a small on site supermarket which sells the essentials with a larger supermarket below the Altamadores which is next door. We were only there for 5 days so did not really use the pool area until the last day but found it to be very good, the pool is not the biggest but is heated. We used the Pool Bar as well & found the food to be good & extremely reasonable. The beach is a 15 minute walk away & a 5 Euro taxi ride back. The views are stunning down towards Amadores Beach as well. It is not really a place to take young children as there is very little to do other than soak up the sun but we knew this after doing some research & were happy using it as a base to explore Amadores & Puerto Rico.

The apartments and complex are lovely, the grounds are very well maintained and the rooms are large spacious and of a very good quality. The pool area and pool is on the smaller side but never had an issue finding a bed and there was 6 of us. The apartments are fin a quite area with the beach and closest ‘Center, about 10/15 minutes walk away. My issue with this place is on the service side and it’s extremely poor. We arrived at around 8pm to a closed reception area and locked gate with no staff member in sight, leaving us walk down the road with all our luggage to get the attention of another guest to open the gate, from there we had to wait for the caretaker to arrive on reception to give us our keys, not ideal after 8hrs travelling. The next day we go to the pool to find the pool bar closed we asked on reception to be told the manager closed the pool bar ‘for now’ so for a drink and lunch ‘at the pool’ lead to a shopping trip as the hotel shop is a small storage room with very limited capacity and availability due to reception being the pay point and only open 6/7 hrs per day and less on weekends. When we booked a shuttle to and from the beach and in room dining were advertised again the manager had stopped them ‘ for now’, none of these closures were communicated to us before arrival and with relaxation by the pool being a huge part of my holiday plans the supermarket trips, returning to the room for drinks and snacks and other services ‘stopped for now without prior communication is unethical and inexcusable. Would not stay here again for the service reasons outlined. The pool bar and in room dining are still being advertised on the website as of 2 minutes before writing this review.
