Marina Suites Gran Canaria

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Yacht Hafen in einer top Lage. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt im Apartment. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, ausgestattet mit einem Wohnzimmer, Küche und einen riesigen Terasse. Kann das Hotel nur jedem weiter empfehlen.

Fantastic holiday, place is like a palace. Home from home. Food excellent too. Infinity pool is amazing. Rooms cleaned everyday. Kids club onsite was fab. Breakfast was lovely so much choice. Barbara’s work so hard. Lovely restaurant across the road too. Can’t wait to return.

I stayed here for 8 nights in August after being moved from their sister hotel Marina Bayview due to an issue with my room. To begin with, everything about the hotel including the rooms, restaurant, reception, and all other communal areas were spotless and kept clean Marina Suites hosts a range of facilities meaning you have everything you need from sun beds & a lovely infinity pool as well as access to 2 jacuzzis in a more secluded, adults only area, gym, 2 restaurants & bars, a courtesy room, a kids club, and a virtual cycling centre. The location is one of the many highlights of Marina Suites, offering lovely views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful Puerto Rico harbour. The hotel is also in close proximity to local restaurants and shops including a Hiper-Dino Express and a variety of different restaurants. Upon arrival at Marina Suites we were again warmly greeted and checked-in by Jorge who also checked us in at Marina Bayview. Jorge made me feel welcome, shook us by the hand, was very friendly and professional especially when dealing with the issue with our room. Considering the other staff at the hotel, they were also very friendly and professional, I would like to make a special mention to Juan Jesus who has always been professional and kind to us since our first visit to Marina Suites in 2019! At the Atlantic Pool Bar, breakfast and lunch are offered every day, however there is no dinner served here in the evening with the exception of Mondays where they have their very own BBQ night. Throughout the day at the Atlantic Pool Bar, as you would expect there is a full bar available including sodas, wines, smoothies, and cocktails. All the food at breakfast, lunch, and on BBQ night was fresh, tasty and delicious with a large variety to choose from. The ratio of portion size to quality to price was very good. I do highly recommend both the BBQ night which has live music and breakfast which even offers complimentary cava to make your own mimosas! The breakfast set us up for the day with so much on offer including made to order omelettes, eggs, breakfast meats such as bacon and sausages, beans, a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, series and continental breakfast items (cold cheeses and meats). The chefs here are very talented and certainly know how to cook great tasting food! The bbq night and lunch offered during the day is very good value for money, and considering what you pay to stay in this hotel, you get quality accommodation with lovely views. The rooms were very big, spacious, modern and stylish, with a kitchenette, microwave and mini fridge, a TV, a massive balcony with a 4 seater table and 2 additional colourful seats. Both the beds in the room and sun beds by the pool were comfortable, and I slept perfectly every night. It should be noted however that the air conditioning system is really not the best, at many times during my stay, the effects could not be felt, even when the balcony door was locked. We spent a week at Marina Suites, it is truly wonderful hotel, right from arrival (welcome drink on arrival, wine and sweets in our room) through to the amazing room with a view, the pool and facilities. The local area is really nice, with beach, lovely restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Thank you Marina Suites for an excellent holiday, we will be back.

From the moment we walked in to reception we were really impressed. Checked in without any problems and up to our room on the 5th floor. Apartment was really spacious and comfortable and we had a view of the pool and marina area. Everything was clean and well-presented. The pool was a bit cold but we got used to it and I’ve now ticked an infinity pool off my bucket list! Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at the Monday bbq was brilliant and we at one lunch at the pool bar which was also delicious. I didn’t want to leave and I certainly want to return!
