This hotel has been renovating for years and years. It’s finally open but the construction is still going on? 8 AM to 6 PM constant machinery noise. Just finish up and quietly host your guests. Sunday brunch screeching is also unbearable — get someone with a nice voice!

Loud disrespectful of Puerto Vallarta residents. A blemish to the whole area. Rude construction. Overpriced drinks , constant construction . Lie to all surrounding residents promising to be a respectful neighbor. Drag show loud and obnoxious to all who must endure screeching voice of announcer.

The Tryst is definitely a work in progress with some noise from continuing construction and one elevator. On the positive side the staff is AMAZING from LUIS, to Ronald Ramirez in the dinning area to Fabian Ruiz (Guest Services) & food!!!!!

I tried this spot out while in PV and it did not disappoint! It’s a new hotel and right in the heart of PV. The service is outstanding—everything you’d expect from a five diamond hotel is here. I spent a few hours in the lobby restaurant to work—the coffee was great while I worked. I also had espresso martinis here one night. Today I had lunch here and had the enchiladas and the burrito. The banana boy smoothie was also delicious. They also have a rooftop pool on the 8th floor with a bar that has amazing views on the 7th floor. It’s a very nice setup. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in PV. The hotel rooms are super nice too! The staff is outstanding and a level of service out of this world! Thank you for a great experience.

The Tryst is a stunningly beautiful hotel. The interior design is fabulously contemporary and the attention to detail in the rooms and common spaces is unparalleled. My king bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows are superb. The bathroom was huge and very sexy although there is not enough light to see well in the mirror. There are no phones in the rooms but this was a minor inconvenience and easily overcome. There is still a little construction happening but this, too, is easily overlooked considering the hotel is relatively new. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and very easy on the eyes! There are so many other good things to say about Tryst...the restaurant food, the rooftop bar and pool, the drag show and pool party on Sunday and the proximity to the beach, restaurants and entertainment venues. I will stay here again when I return to PV and recommend it to my friends. I loved it!

Construction noise everyday! Pouring concrete, then pneumatic drills and saws all day long! You walk in and out through a construction zone! Most rooms don’t have a view of the water. Don’t open to guests until you’re finished construction!

A beautiful modern boutique hotel in the heart of the Zona Romántica - recently completed with wonderful architectural touches throughout. Service was impeccable - lovely staff. Our room was perfect. The thoughtful touches from an automatic night light in the bathroom to the stocked mini fridge and bedside ear plugs ( there is some construction sound in the vicinity) coupled with a gorgeous ocean view, made for a relaxing break from the days fun. The rooftop pool and bar was gorgeous. A recommended stay.

It's mostly great. Staff is professional and friendly. The drinks on arrival are splendid—not the usual, boring champagne, but an actual mixed drink. Comfortable, clean. water and minibar included. Location is perfect. BUT, the curtains barely block out any light; so, as soon as the sun comes up, the room is bright. Can't sleep in. If it weren't for the curtains (sleep being one of the most important things in a hotel), it would be an easy 5, but I have to leave at 4 stars until they change. Unless there's a switch to darken the windows that I'm missing... they should also include a phone or at least clear instructions on how to access staff.

I enjoyed a great stay at this new hotel. The entire staff appreciate their role in creating a new "it" hotel in Vallarta's Zona Romantica. I was graciously welcomed and served at every turn. The room design is beautiful, the free mini bar is a rare treat, and the location is ideal. There is some nearby construction noise (inevitable in this area) and some ongoing finishing touches. Nonetheless, the overall product is outstanding and I heartily recommend this hotel for your next trip to Puerto Vallarta. Kudos to all the staff for your work to create a new hospitality experience in the heart of Old Town.
