Impeccable boutique hotel with the finest amenities. Staff was extremely friendly, courteous and professional. Service throughout was exceptional. Happy hour on roof was great. The dining experience in the restaurant was equally wonderful, especially for breakfast before heading out to explore PV. Will definitely come back.

We stayed in the tryst for 4 nights and loved everything about it. We were concerned based upon some of the reviews that complained about noise and despite having a room right next to the upgrade works (they are building a second guest only pool area) we were not disturbed at all, especially as we certainly weren’t wasting the day away in our room during the day. The hotel is beautifully finished, the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms delightful with great water pressure, the hotel has lots of great touches such as a free mini bar that you can empty once, delicious welcome cocktail and generally just lovely staff, all of which couldn’t be more helpful. We loved the WhatsApp access to reception which is a super efficient way to communicate any requirements or get any questions answered and most of all we loved the happy hour in the infinity pool, which we did daily, meeting lots of people including others guests as well as locals who come for the fun and amazing view. Special shout out to Kay and Lisa in the pool bar who took great care of us. An absolute gem of a hotel in PV and we can’t wait to come back.

Loud disrespectful of Puerto Vallarta residents. A blemish to the whole area. Rude construction. Overpriced drinks , constant construction . Lie to all surrounding residents promising to be a respectful neighbor. Drag show loud and obnoxious to all who must endure screeching voice of announcer.

The Tryst is definitely a work in progress with some noise from continuing construction and one elevator. On the positive side the staff is AMAZING from LUIS, to Ronald Ramirez in the dinning area to Fabian Ruiz (Guest Services) & food!!!!!

The Tryst is a stunningly beautiful hotel. The interior design is fabulously contemporary and the attention to detail in the rooms and common spaces is unparalleled. My king bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows are superb. The bathroom was huge and very sexy although there is not enough light to see well in the mirror. There are no phones in the rooms but this was a minor inconvenience and easily overcome. There is still a little construction happening but this, too, is easily overlooked considering the hotel is relatively new. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and very easy on the eyes! There are so many other good things to say about Tryst...the restaurant food, the rooftop bar and pool, the drag show and pool party on Sunday and the proximity to the beach, restaurants and entertainment venues. I will stay here again when I return to PV and recommend it to my friends. I loved it!

Construction noise everyday! Pouring concrete, then pneumatic drills and saws all day long! You walk in and out through a construction zone! Most rooms don’t have a view of the water. Don’t open to guests until you’re finished construction!
