We never actually got to stay here. We booked this hotel for 4 nights coming from KL. We called the hotel to help us to get to the island. He told us what to do and we followed it to the T. Once we got to the pier, we were told by the boat man that the waves were too big and we couldn’t get to the island. The weather being out of everyone’s hands, you would think the hotel would be more accommodating and understanding regarding the situation. After this, we were given options to “redeem” our money but none of them were in our favor. At the end we lost a lot of money on other hotels, transportation and flights as we had to change our plans and a lot of time and energy. The owner was the rudest man I’ve ever spoken to. He kept a yelling at us and wouldn’t let us explain anything. I believe if you own a hotel on an island, you should be more accommodating to the weather and open to refunds. If you want to go to this island, check the weather conditions. I hope no one has to experience what we had to go through.
