The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort recensioner

The hotel itself and it's location was great. The weather was sunny, making the water activity do-able and nice. Thanks for the hardworking lifeguard at the beach and attentive restaurant waiter/waitress. However, the service at the reception and manager handling a paid room upgrade should be improved further for a better guest experience. Not a 5-star experience. Lol. Hope they can improve on the communication and better room coordination. Marriott/Shangrila will do this in a much better way. Maybe it's me who put higher expectation on Taaras Is this resort deserve a repeat? Maybe NO. Anyway tq for the experience

Had a great stay with Taaras resort. The view is perfect and I sleep well every night with the waves sound. Have balcony with nice view too.Friendly to smoker. The bed and pillow are comfortable and clean. Whole environment is warm.I stay alone in the large room but I don’t feel creepy at all.Just feel like home. Beach,foods,service,all perfect. staffs all friendly and nice.

Very scenic and beautiful beach with nice rooms but getting there is a pain and once there, you are on your own as there is no taxi or grab and food at hotel is 5 times normal price. Buffet breakfast is very limited for a 5 star resort and pool is old and sub par standard for price but beach makes up for it. Staff are hit and miss with some excellent and some don’t care and just look after certain group of guest and ignore others. Monkeys can come in room so wuss to keep door locked. Transfer arranged by hotel is expensive and if arranging own can be tricky with sea conditions and overloading of passengers. Overall ok but expect more for price or better just go to Maldives.

This is one of the best hotels ive been to. The architecture is really beautiful, the lap pool is amazing, the rooms are really elegant and comfortable, modern, clean. You can see small sharks and lots of fish just down the hotel. The staff is so nice. The surroundings are gorgeous : dont hesitate to explore and get off the beaten tracks. The price of the food and drinks is too expensive, but the meals are well prepared. The breakfast is amazing. I strongly recommend this hotel

Not too bad.. but the price difference is too great one room $ 1000 plus & two rooms$4000 plus . Can go again . But next time book direct with the hotel with Berjaya air .

I fund everything overpriced, especially the ferry travel was dangerous and uncomfortable. I highly encourage you to reconsider travelling to this place, the beach is beautiful, but the staff , especially management need to improve the Internet and travel services. Striking a balance between the services, the cost, and quality is a must that this place needs to resolve.

Me and my kids loveeee the resort so much. Kids friendly resort. Great breakfast. Magnifcient view from the cliff room. Definately will come again soon.

The location was great; There is a 30-45 min trip by ferry to reach the hotel; It’s a speed boat which may not be convenient enough for some people; My 9-year-old son got sick in the ferry; Regarding the hotel, when we got our room, restroom wasn’t clean enough; We had booked a 2-bedroom Bayview suit however the windows of main room were locked & broken so we couldn’t open the windows & enjoy enough, considering the glasses weren’t clean as well;

The resort and the entire staff are just amazing. If you are looking for an island get away - this is the place to be. The private beach is stunning, and no needs and demands were left unsatisfied. The rooms are clean and tidy and the beds are extremely comfortable. Just bear in mind that the island pretty much consists of this resort, especially during monsoon season. There is not much else to do (except for snorkeling and diving) - it’s overall beautiful if you’re looking for relaxation in paradise.
