La Maison Deveney Mars

We had a lovely time at La Maison Deveney Mars! The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, the amenities were plentiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area! We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back for another visit!

My boyfriend and I wanted to go wine tasting in the Cote de Beaune area and decided to stay in Puligny Monrachet as we could easily cycle to nearby villages. The location was great for getting around by bike so we could taste wines all day. The room was immaculate, clean and very modern having only been built in 2017. Upon arrival we received a glass of wine, from the winemaker and owner of Deveny-Mars. The guest house is only small with 4-5 rooms so it had such a homey feel with the upstairs kitchen/dining area available for use. This was very helpful as due to the time of year, there is not much selection of restaurants nearby apart from Olivier Lefleive & Le Monrachet which are gourmet and very nice, but not for every day we were there! The kitchen also has a lot of wine which you can have at normal price for the wine with no added charge for drinking it in the hotel, which I thought was a very nice touch. The upstairs is also so pretty and modern, with anything you could wish for in terms of cooking! This is where breakfast was served everyday. It was very nice with pastries, bread, cheese, ham etc with eggs made to order. There was very secure parking and a safe place to store bikes, which was very important to us! The staff were so accommodating, rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard and they even helped us order a pizza over the phone as our French is not good! On our last day we decided to buy the Deveny-Mars wine to take home with us, and we went into the boutique where we were met by the winemaker and owner who gave us a fantastic tasting. He speaks excellent English (as did all staff) and really helped us to appreciate and enjoy his wine. This tasting was thoroughly enjoyed and one of the best ones of our holiday. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay whilst we were in Puligny and would highly recommend to families, couples and anyone visiting the area.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. It is a beautiful property in the heart of town. Camille was very helpful with dinner reservations. They provide private parking and an excellent breakfast. Camille also gave us a delightful tasting of the wines produced by the owner. She also brought us each a glass of Premier Cru Pommard upon check in. Now that is a check in I can appreciate. My only criticism is in the design of the room. The top of the wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom. While it looks cool, if someone gets up at night to go to the bathroom, the bathroom light shines through to the bedroom. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. It is a first class property, and Camille is a great asset.

La propreté est impeccable, la literie confortable. L'accueil et les petites attentions sont agréables. Idéalement situé. Nous n'avons pu tester la piscine mais la terrasse semblait agréable. Le petit déjeuner était ok, oeufs, pancakes, toasts...

Magnifique maison pour une étape des les vignobles bourguignon et non loin de Beaune. Notre chambre lulunne était superbe ! Spacieuse, calme, joliment décorée et tout confort ! La réception était fermée du fait de notre arrivée tardive mais tout a été mis en œuvre pour que notre arrivée se déroule bien : mail explicatif, premier petit mot sur la boîte à clefs, deuxième sur la porte de la chambre et enfin deux verres de vin et des petites chouquettes en chambre, une petite attention sympathique quand on arrive ! Petit déjeuner varié dans une jolie salle aux poutres apparentes.

Cette résidence se situe à 10 min de Beaune, dans la jolie village de Puligny Montrachet, au milieu des vignes. L’accueil de Juliette a été très agréable, très à l’écoute et serviable. La chambre « Lulunne » que nous occupions était juste magnifique, très bien exposée, très bien équipé, spacieuse et propre. Le petit déjeuner est servi à table et complet.Nous avons passé un séjour charmant. Nous recommandons à 100%
