Very happy with this hotel. Stayed here a few days during our trip to Puno. The staff was friendly, attentive, and most important, the rooms were clean. Bed was very comfortable with room overlooking the Bay Area. Yes, they have alpacas cutting the grass lol. Bathrooms had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Free WiFi. Hotel has a restaurant inside. We’re typically not hotel restaurant people, but we were forced to eat here the first night. We actually enjoyed it more than some of the restaurants we visited. The chefs did a fantastic job with the food. We voluntarily ate here one other time, tried different food, and it was still great! They have a bar, lots of drinks, wine, and beers. However, the mixed drinks were a little different story lol. Not much experience with mixed drinks from what we noticed. Still a comfy place to relax and have some drinks with great views. Highly recommend this hotel to stay and restaurant to eat at!

This hotel is simply not a 4 star hotel as it is promised. It probably starts by the fact that the city isn’t pleasant on the eyes, even though that is not the hotel’s fault, it definitely affected the experience. About the hotel itself, it is right beside a railway, so if you stay on the first floor, you’ll hear train noises every two hours and won’t be able to rest. The hotel’s restaurant is said to be the best in the city, however the food is mid and the breakfast is terrible. I ate a ceviche in one of the two nights we stayed there and it gave me a diarrhea in the morning. They are also right by the lake, which means sometimes you can feel a putrid smell coming from it. The rooms are a terrible shade of yellow and the bathroom is poorly designed. Not to mention that the locker they offer is a key one, aside from not being actually safe, since any guest could have made a copy, is old and outdated. The hotel does not have any source of entertainment, aside from the room TV and does not have room service. Overall, not a good stay.

This hotel is in a wonderful position on the very edge of beautiful Lake Titicaca. What a view! We wished we had had time to sit outside under the gazebo and enjoy it but were too busy going on trips the 2 days we were there.Though quite a big hotel with 70 rooms the rooms were so cosy that it felt more intimate than expected. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and the breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold foods and the same with the evening meals. A very pleasant experience.

The hotel is in a great location. The room was large and clean. For our taste, the beds were hard and the staff throughout was indifferent. The room phone didn't work for an entire night, and we couldn't contact the desk. The included breakfast was good. Recommended for touring the lake.
