Hotel Sonar Tori is beside Puri sea beach, 1 km from Lord Jagannath Temple, 2 km from Railway Station, 65 km from Bhubaneswar Airport & 40 km from Konark Temple. We have Deluxe A/C and Non A/C rooms with Intercom, wardrobe, 21 Flat T.V. with cable line in every room and other facilities like room service, Laundry, Music channels, Car parking space, Restaurant, Railway & Air Ticket confirmation, Doctor on call, Panda on call, Tour bookings etc. Puri sea beach is the best in India. In Mumbai, Goa, Cochin and Chennai as well as other sea beaches, taking bath in sea is a risk due to tides, under current and deepness. But in Puri to take sea bath is a pleasure and enjoyable experience. The beach is very wide and exposed and there's not a scrap of shade to be found. The sea beach at Puri is approximately 150.4 kilometers long. This town is positioned at such a unique place that both the sunset and the sunrise can be viewed from the sea beach itself. One of the most important festivals known as 'Ratha Yatra' is held at Puri with great pomp and gaiety. Particularly, during this time of the year, this town in Orissa is practically flooded by pilgrims. Majority of the roads from various parts of the Orissa and other states are connected to Puri. Many super fast trains also ply to Puri from cities like Kolkata, Delhi etc. The culture of Puri reflects the ethos of Orissa society. The temple town of Orissa is renowned throughout the world for the Jagannath Temple. The location is great and the food is also value for money but the rooms are average not much clean

The rooms are very good especially the AC working fine.
hotel staff are less carring, they are not cleaning the room at the proper time.
The hotel receptionist has a very rude attitude.
but hotel restaurant was very good
they are well mannered, Foods are very good.

Location is very good close to see beach room size is good and clean.staff behavior good, Balcony is not so clean but can be use. Water supplay is slow at 2nd floor. Food tastes good but quantity is less over all good experience like to visit again.

The hotel rooms lacks cleanliness. Like mirrors are dirty. No Bathroom sleepers. So place no lamp is there

Rooms are average. Not so clean.
Bathroom is small and smelly. Staffs are well behaved.

Worst ever experience. Dirty washroom. Dirty bed and cloths. No cleaning of rooms. Very dirty balcony. Misbehaving staff including manager. Food served in dirty broken vessels. Fake advertisements!

Sonar tori location wise is a good hotel. The property is old but they have renovated some parts of it it seems. The geyser is controlled by them so every-time i needed the geyser i had to call them to switch it on. The restaurant needs more staff as we found only one staff serving at the restaurant and the same staff providing room service so obviously it led to delay. Hotel staff behaviour was good though the restaurant manager was busy watching reels on his mobile phone and took time to respond when we enquired about something while at the restaurant. Food taste was good. Bathroom needs a makeover. Not upto the mark. Overall an average stay.
