City Trip Hostels Amsterdam-Purmerend recensioner

One thing I absolutely disliked is that I was some minutes to late to empty the locker and they just put al my stuff (including money, wallet and smartphone) in a plastic bag at the reception. The only thing I missed is that they didn't throw it away. Was really pissed off by this.

This hostel wanted to double charge me after having paid in the app, which ruined a day of vacation because I left the hostel earlier than planned due to the inconvenience.

チェックインの際にオーナーの方はこのホステルの使い方について丁寧に説明してくれました。 お風呂には無料で使えるドライヤーがあり、数も5つほどあり便利です。 ロッカールームがあり無料で使うことができます。暗証番号の設定方法もオーナーが丁寧に教えてくれます。 部屋はカーテンが付いておりプライベートを守ることができます。音は聞こえますが、耳栓やイヤホンで対応すればなんら問題ありません。 アムステルダムセントラル駅からは少し距離がありますが、 早めに到着するように計画すること、何時の電車があるのか確認しておくのがいいと思います。私は向かうのが遅くなり、電車の便が少なく困ったため。バスを使う方はこの心配はないと思います。 総合的に素晴らしい宿泊でした。

Ik had deze even snel geboekt, omdat ik een paar uurtjes wou slapen. Het was rond 10 uur in de ochtend toen ik daar aankwam. Ik werk namelijk in de nacht en moest rond 17:00 uur weer in de buurt werken. Vandaar dat ik eerder aankwam. Mij is gelijk erg onvriendelijk medegedeeld dat ik vroeg was en dat ik pas 15:00 uur terug mocht komen. Een oplossing werd niet aangeboden. Heb het gelijk geannuleerd, maar kreeg niks terug. Heb bij een ander hotel geboekt waar ik wel gelijk kon inchecken. Vooral de houding van de 2 medewerkers was erg brutaal. Er wordt niet voor niets gezegd dat goedkoop een miskoop is. Gezellige hostel medewerker leuke plek, lekkere bedden. Wasgelegenheid zeer schoon. Aanrader voor iedereen en super betaalbaar.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Due to a glitch in their confusing and difficult to navigate website I mistakenly booked a different location of hostel to my friend. I am a solo female traveller and when I called to ask if I can amend it (I offered to pay the difference or any fees to amend) as I now was staying in a completely separate hostel to my friend, I was met with such a rude employee who said even if I booked the other hostel and paid for that in full I would still have to pay for the first one AND and extra cancellation fee. I am a young female traveller going away for the first time and a student and I am left feeling shaken and terrified to stay in Amsterdam. This place is the most unhelpful hostel I have ever stayed in and clearly don’t care about the safety of young women, only getting money. Do not support these people.

Excellent place to stay! Nice staff. Brendan at the reception was kind and welcoming. Pods were nice and clean. All the amenities were kept nice and tidy. Bus stop is right in front of the hostel. Very well connected to Amsterdam downtown. Overall, great place to stay.

The hostel was clean and the beds are comfy. The staff is super friendly, receptive, and helpful. Shout-out to Brenan, Salvatore, and Francesco, who helped me immensely after I had an ankle sprain while walking in Amsterdam. It eas my first ever experience at a hostel and I do not regret it at all. Thank you for everything!

Such comfy and private beds! I felt very safe and secure for my first solo trip overseas. Flor was very helpful and friendly, as were all of the hostel staff! Purmerend is a beautiful and peaceful town, I highly recommend staying here and branching out to the nearby countryside attractions by foot, bike or train.

Hanna and Franz have warmly welcomed me, there are a few to say. great service, the place is pleasant, the people are nice and all is well-cleaned. had a good experience, I'll be back soon ;) Franz helped me a lot with more information about a random place that I was looking for. Patrick, an Italian guy super available and cheerful.

It was a wonderful home away from home at City Trip Hostels, Purmerend. Very friendly staff, neat and peaciful environment. It is convenient, with the buses stopping directly opposite the hostels and the shops are within a walking distance. Thanks to Brenda, for she even convinced me to stay for two more nights....I will definitely come back again, and would recommend city trippers/ travelers to use City Trip Hostels for their exceptional prices, it is value for money.
