Check in is at 4pm and we had to wait for our room to be cleaned. We were sitting in the lobby and they never let us know if the room was ready. We had to keep going up to them and ask if it was ready yet. When we finally got into our room, we didn't have any towels. We asked twice for towels and they said that they were still being washed. The third time that we asked for towels, they finally gave us some. There is no free coffee and no free breakfast. Ice machines on each floor was not working or coming out slow.

They were busy the day before so they struggled to get us checked in at 4 and when we're assigned a room, we didn't get any towels till around 6 pm. It's ok, they tried. Staffs were nice. Just need a better way to manage their guest turnover.

Clean and comfortable, needs amenities
Our stay was great. They can’t help it if parents don’t teach their kids to be considerate of others in the pool or rooms. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. Bathrooms and showers have not been updated and need some work.TV was a small as a computer monitor. As others noted, there is no mini fridge, coffee maker or microwave, which is really behind the times, especially at these prices. You have to go downstairs to the coffee shop and actually pay four dollars for a cup of coffee. It just seems so ridiculous. Just get some coffee makers and put them in the room for goodness sake or have a self serve kiosk. Really just seems like another money grab. Great views, close to town. We would stay here again.

Property was great. A little dated but I think that’s common for this area. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Pool area was lovely. Staff was friendly.

Room on the first floor. Had a terrace with a patio set. There was a dirty towel in One of the chairs and we had just arrived. the toilet had not been properly scrubbed. The patio door had spider webs and spiders hanging from it. Room had a musty odor. Hard to be comfortable in a bed when the room doesn’t smell fresh. Just not up to the standard we are accustomed to. Way over priced for the amount charged.

I disliked that there was no mini fridge, microwave in the room and the elevator went out and we was on the 3rd floor. I also dosliked the fact that we had to wear blue wristband to identify us from other to swim and we paid almost 400 for one night. When morning came no complimentary coffee or anything.... was still paid for and them over priced ass burgers.... 20 dollars for themmmmm. Then the golf carts costed 200 for less than 12 hours??

Not worth the ridiculous price
We paid almost $700 a night and didn't even have a coffee pot in our room. There was no complimentary coffee at all in fact, you had to go downstairs to the lobby and pay for it. The fan in our bathroom didn't work, our remote control to the TV didn't work, the door to the balcony would not shut all the way unless you slammed it, and I stepped on a piece of glass on the balcony. As mentioned there was no coffee pot, but also no mini refrigerator and no microwave. It was the most basic room I've ever been in. The one thing it had going for it was the view. We couldn't even connect to their internet. We've lived and traveled all over the world and stayed in some amazing places and paid a fraction of what we paid for Bayshore. Definitely not worth $690 a night. The staff was kind and was able to check us out early so that we could go stay somewhere else.

One of the better hotels here, but not great
It was expensive to stay here. It was probably one of the better hotels though. Unless you stayed at a bed and breakfast.
It needed to be updated. Lots of marks on the walls. Just didn’t feel clean with the old dark carpet and chairs that were dark and padded. It seemed musty too.

The view of Lake Erie was nice but the patio sitting area was full of spiders and cobwebs so we couldn't sit out to enjoy the view.
