Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino

The hotel is quite new, so the rooms do feel very modern and sleek. The hotel has great infrastructure and the service is mostly top notch. The food is very good indeed, though a bit pricey compared to other local restaurants, which is to be expected. I was slightly unimpressed with the fact that some of the restaurants were not operating as expected, as I would have liked to experience new dishes, as the two main restaurants do get a bit boring after a few days. Overall a great property.

This is an excellent Mandarin and the accommodation was equally superb. Excellent views over the bay. The staff were faultless and addressed us by name, which always indicates great training. Very good restaurants, in particular the unique Pizza Experience, where one sits around a large bar, where the renowned chef prepares multiple pizzas throughout the meal. As good as it gets. Supposedly the best pizza chef in the world - and I wouldn’t challenge that claim.

Wow! Wow! Wow!! Truly phenomenal of a stay! Do not look any further! Best hotel in Costa Navarino! From the time you walk in you can feel the warmth of the staff and the feel of luxury and know you will be well taken care of! Every detail is amazing and top notch! From the food, to the room, the fitness center and spa all is truly wonderful! The staff truly made me feel special and took time to talk to me and make me feel wonderful! Please book this hotel you will not disappoint!

I visited The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino and was beyond impressed. The spa facilities are gorgeously built, with a beautiful eye for decor. My therapist Paige has been great to meet and receive a treatment from. She has a calm and engaging personality, and making conversation comes easily to her. She paid attention to my requests, and ensured she covered these during her massage. Her massage is lovely, warming up the muscles correctly before introducing elements of pressure. I realised areas of tension in my body that I didn't know I have, and I left feeling much better after the session. She has learned details about the property and was able to offer them to me with ease and passion. I was delighted to learn about the spa and the hotel from her. After the massage, I enjoyed the steam room, sauna and cold plunge - finishing off with a gentle swim in the fabulous pool, overlooking the Navarino Bay. An experience I will remember for years to come.

My experience with Mandarin Oriental has been nothing short of a nightmare. Due to a family death, I had to cancel my stay from May 1-5, 2024, and needed an original invoice for insurance purposes. Over a month later, despite countless emails and follow-ups, I am still waiting for this basic document. The incompetence and utter lack of professionalism displayed by the staff, particularly Andreas from Accounts, is astonishing. They have provided nothing but empty excuses and have shown a complete disregard for my situation. This isn't just poor service; it's outright negligence. This ordeal has added immense stress during an already sensitive time. Mandarin Oriental's failure to provide a simple invoice is not just a minor inconvenience—it's a blatant demonstration of their inability to handle even the most basic customer needs. Their complete lack of care is beyond unacceptable. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in Mandarin Oriental. We will never stay at any of their properties again, although the Mandarin is a chain my family & I have regularly visited many times. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. This hotel is a disgrace, and their service is a joke. definitely one of the most complete and perfect locations for us in Europe. the place itself boasts great architecture, and amazing views. It is surrounded by a fantastic golf course and soon will also have its own tennis academy. Great food, great service, great beach club,…
