Movenpick by Accor Qingdao Sunmei

Definitely not a 5 star hotel they claim to be on Trip.com. The first room we were checked-in had a broken window that couldn’t be opened and the reception didn’t know about it, although the window was closed with a tape and they should have known that this room had a problem. There were not many guests in the hotel and plenty of rooms to be offered. In the next room we found out that the show was out of hot water. The problem was with the central supply system and instead of repairing it themselves, the hotel engineer was coming to our room claiming that we should discharge water for 5-10 minutes before hot water starts coming out. This kept going for almost an hour, we were tired and wanted to sleep because it was late evening. The problem didn’t require our assistance because the problem was with the whole hot water supply system, not with our exact room. Also, they brought us a small heater to the room which I was surprised about, but then I understood that it was because the air-conditioner which had a heater mode, didn’t work well. I doubt that the hotel would have enough heaters for all rooms in case they had more guests. Without the heater it was quite cold in the room. Next morning the house keeper came at 9-30 am!!!Which is insane. We were sleeping. I’ve never encountered a hotel at which the house keeper came that early and disturbed the guests. Finally when leaving the hotel, we wanted to take those one-time use sleepers with us to use during the flight and found out to our surprise, that for 4 days we were living in the hotel sleepers were not changed even once. I called the reception, it was early morning (like 6-30 am) and they told me that the house keeper will bring us the sleepers when she comes to work. I told that we were leaving already and the reception promised to bring the sleepers asap. 10 minutes later nobody came and we went to check-out. At the check-out I asked for the sleepers again and told the receptionist that the taxi has almost arrived, so that she could bring us the sleepers first and then proceed with the check-out. She didn’t listen to me, still first processed the check-out and only after it went for the sleepers. So it basically took me half an hour and my nerves to get the sleepers that were supposed to be in my room from the very beginning. The general manager talked to us after the case with the hot water and the house keeper coming early in the morning. He was very polite, but this doesn’t eliminate the fact that basic services in this hotel leave much to be desired. On the plus side, very comfortable beds and clean spacious room.

Great place.. We like everything very much! We received a very friendly welcome after midnight.. The room was very large and very well furnished.

Amazing Service, nice rooms and excellent quality of food absolutely “Movenpick like” - depending where are you going the location is absolutely ok… for me as a foodie it was a great experience 👍

來青島得有快五年了 第一次來黃島這邊玩 轉了轉這周邊 酒店的位置靠海挺近的 蠻喜歡海邊的 出行也方便 餐廳的海腸撈飯好吃 嘎嘎好吃 前台小姐姐們的服務也是不孬！！ 個個大高個顏值也高服務質量也高 真心推薦 下次帶我朋友來黃島 就讓帶她住這 啊哈哈哈

酒店設施很齊全，辦理入住的Grace小姐姐很熱情，介紹了房間設施，辦理退房的Margaret小姐姐也送給我們能量包，還問我們入住的怎麼樣。總之很喜歡～還會再選擇！離沙灘不遠，還可以趕海！太快樂啦！

房間實際比照片好看，佈置合理，衞生乾淨，還有停車場。酒店房間沒有網紅元素，舒適實用，服務，衞生，設施設備沒得説，還提供免費冰水。餐廳有簡餐，來不及吃早餐跟前台提前溝通可第二天領取。不錯的酒店，有機會下次還來。
