Carols Beau Rivage Hotel

I stayed at Carols Beau Rivage Marsa Matruh last week, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I have been traveling to Egypt regularly for the past 10 years, including stays in Marsa Alam and Hurghada, and I have never encountered anything like this. Positives: • The hotel was clean, and staff at the beach and restaurant were friendly. • The sea is absolutely beautiful. Negatives: • Tour representative George from Cedok travel agency charged guests for visas, SIM cards, and preventive medication (Antinal), sold services without receipts, and took advantage of guests who did not speak English. • Reception – ridiculous extra charges (oversized wristbands, currency exchange fees, broken scale), bottled water was not provided free of charge even for All Inclusive guests. • Food and hygiene – cold and poor-quality food, old fruit, hard bread. Almost every guest experienced stomach issues, including my mother. I personally ate only rice and bottled water and still suffered severe digestive problems. There seems to be a serious issue with improperly washed dishes, confirmed by other guests from nearby hotels. • Medical staff – responded slowly and unprofessionally when my mother was in critical condition, provided care without proper documentation, and other guests had to pay without receipts. Summary: While the hotel has a beautiful sea and some friendly staff, the tour representative, reception, food, and medical services made our stay very unpleasant. I would advise future travelers to be very cautious and consider staying elsewhere.

We ejoyed the vacation a lot good animation team great food. Good program everyday. And everybody here is very friendly.

The hotel is really suitable for any family. You will enjoy the beach and swimming pools a lot, and the animation activities are great both in the morning and after dinner with their fun shows. The animation team is very friendly, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. They also take good care of children, making it a safe and enjoyable place for families. Like any hotel, they have their own policies, but they truly respect guests’ comments and respond quickly to any requests. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to relax and have fun with your family. You will definitely enjoy your stay! 😉
