It's at the end of the road and a ferry to Cortes Island awaits. It could be two hours so what better than to have a meal, or at least a pint of ale, at this pub/hotel. Decidedly country in style, the ambience here harkens to a U.S. Roadhouse. Eat out on the full lawn, play a game of giant chess, or gaze at the west coast inlet. The food is a bit pricey due to the isolated location but the servers are friendly. If the ferry is cancelled, well, there is room at this Inn.

Campground is a joke!!!! OVERPRICED!!! CROWDED!!! Waste of money and time! New name is “Harry’s Hole” Just run……keep driving!!! Your welcome.

Over packed. No maintenance. Bad customer service just not a good place to stay, wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy

We were there for a friend s bday party. We each paid 70$ for a prime rib meal. The meal was ok but the price is quite steep. There was not enough food if more people wanted seconds. Some decided not to pursue more. No coffee or tea. Everything was extra. Pretty lame for the money!

Never disappoints! Warm and welcoming and full of character! A very old Inn which comes with many quirks, a lot of character, and a century of good memories! Very nice waterfront location with a warm approach to hospitality. Exactly what I was looking for!

Please avoid this place at all costs. Save your family the abuse and bad vides from this awful establishment. Our kids where totally creeped out by the locals and it really ruined our experience. There is not a single good thing about this place other than leaving.

Stayed here half a dozen times or so in the past 10 years but won't be back. Rented a 2 bedroom cabin for $870 for 2 nights. The cabin could definitely use some ugrades and major cleaning. There were spider webs everywhere in the 2 bedrooms along with large spiders to go with them. At night we heard scratching in the ceiling, mice ?? Could use an electric kettle as the old one was rusty inside. Also needs proper cooking pots or casseroles and bbq tools.

This place could be fantastic but the maintenance is sorely lacking. Our room was very basic and just a little bit of effort would have made this just a little special. It is in a beautiful spot and we used the restaurant both nights which I would recommend. There are no breakfast facilities, surprising when there is a restaurant. Not even coffee facilities and no one at check out until 09:00; you’re not likely to hang about when you want a coffee. It would be easy to do coffees and pastries for guests and serve folk that might be waiting for a ferry. Our stay was perfectly adequate but Heriot Bay Inn could have made it so much more. Oh, some side tables on the veranda would be helpful too.

Arrived and given room 6 with the shared balcony. Decor in room very tired and bathroom needs updating it had cracked floor tiles. No TV or kettle in room. Hotel does not provide breakfast so we had to drive to get a spot. Balcony needs maintenance as decking planks poor condition and only seats available no tables. The restaurant was the best part of this hotel and staff there very good. Also surprised that reception didn’t open till 09:00 so we had to leave without settling up and that had to be done later by email. The hotel is in a lovely location but definitely needs maintenance and a review about facilities.
