Mazayen Rum Camp

I recently stayed at the Mazayen Rum Camp and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance was lovely, with a perfect blend of comfort and style. The food was outstanding—each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable, making the entire experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Mazayen Rum Camp is a great place to stay when visiting Wadi Rum. We were fortunate and upgraded to an igloo style “tent” which was very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner at the camp were delicious - lots of lovely dishes to choose from. Watching the sunset from a sand dune overlooking the Camp is an experience I won’t forget.

As l type we’re driving away from Wadi Rum and lm feeling a little sad - we had an exceptional few hours there. We were greeted warmly on our arrival at the camp and shown to our rooms which had everything that we needed - the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, big, comfy bed, lovely traditional furniture and decorations. We then had a 3 hour jeep safari which was incredible, exhilarating, stunning (the list could go on!) - E-Ab (our driver) was great, he kept us entertained and made us feel safe. We stopped for camels, Bedouin tea and music, Lawrence’s (of Arabia) cave, to see the different sand colours, the site of the filming of the Martian and then the finale was the sunset - so beautiful. We were the only group in the camp and felt so spoilt. Our food was traditionally prepared and served to us - it was scrummy! Then came our other highlight ……laying out under the stars. Total darkness except for the fire burning, drinking Bedouin tea, one of the team pointing out constellations to us, catching shooting stars, seeing the Milky Way - there really aren’t the words to describe how special it was. The team at the camp looked after us so well, l really couldn’t fault a thing - thank you.

This camp was advertised as a luxury clamping experience for small groups that is rubbish. Significant health and safety issues abound. Was advertised as small. 300 people were there the night I was there. Rooms are ok but not special. Food was ok but big buffet hall style so oversold. It spoilt my my experience

What an amazing experience! We had the best first time at wadi rum and so happy that it was at mazayen camp. Salim, Abu mohd, did an incredible job making our stay memorable and catered to all of our needs. I don’t know where he gets the energy but this guy was everywhere and paid special attention to my mobility-disabled mother. His staff are incredible and if you’re looking for an authentic but comfortable experience, look no more, choose mazayen.

Our stay in Mazayen Rum Camp was amazing!!! The staff were really friendly , the accommodation was nice too and the food was delicious. The light show at night is one of the experience that you must have one time in your life. I definitely recommend this place in Wadi Rum
