Veranda Palmar Beach Hotel & Spa, 3 Star

We stayed here from Feb 20 to March 08 and had the most relaxing and wonderful time at this beautiful place. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely reception staff and as breakfast had a little time remaining we were given a table before checking in. Our room had been made ready for our arrival although 4 hours before check in. The facilities are well laid out with just a few steps to the bar on the beach and main bar next to pool,restaurant and entertainment stage. The beach has pristine white sand which is cleaned daily and clear waters. We stayed in room 404 and had a lovely view of the gardens and sea. It was kept immaculate by our maid Kajal who would make animals from the towels and leave at the foot of the bed. At the pool and beach bars we were kept refreshed and entertained by Mitchun Elvis and Neelesh who do such a fantastic job interacting with the guests. The buffet food is very good and always something to enjoy. We had a meal at Horizon the restaurant on the beach for a supplement which was delicious but certainly too much for us to eat so well worth the extra. The nightly entertainment of local singers and dancers was very good. If you have any requests or concerns just find Faisal who is the go to man. He will sort out anything the best way he can and is a big asset to the hotel. In short. This is a hidden gem where although it is rated at 3 stars the fantastic staff give you a 5 star experience. We will definitely be returning again to this beautiful resort and reuniting with new made friends at our home from home.

Great hotel. Modern, incredible beach, amazing snorkelling. Food is delicious! Good accessibility to drinks from both the beach and the pool. Unfortunately the service at this hotel isn’t great. They are short staffed and friendliness and attention to detail in terms of service and customer experience isn’t as good as we have received at other hotels in Mauritius. If service isn’t a priority for you then this would be a great choice!

We visited Veranda Palmer Beach hotel. We are having an amazing vacation. Thank you to the superb, excellent friendly service. 100% service from Eddy who took us for a glass boat ride, we snorkeled. My favourite DJ Estaban who kept us entertained, playing lovely music. He took us for a walk on the beach, horse riding and we had a session of fuseball and tennis. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We can't wait to visit Mauritius again. Please give these lovely gentlemen a good raise, they kept us entertained..👌💯❤️🇲🇺

A lovely and welcoming hotel! Nice destination to travel with kids:) food selection was decent. Hotel room was comfortable.

I love the beach the white sand trips are great People are so friendly but you do get the odd ones tho Rooms are basic but they clean well fresh towels we got little surprises with the towels after the cleaners been thumb up

The Beach is excellent and the rooms are well maintained with Asha making the towels into art! Faizal and Tanya are always on hand to listen to positive or negative feedback they want to make your holiday special. Food could be more adventurous maybe having a little more choice. The food service can be highered but a special mention to Deepah who was always there with water,drink etc. If you want a chilled relaxing experience this is it. There are many water sports and local entertainment in the evenings.
