Parkway Motel recensioner

The room was excellent; it had everything we needed. Microwave, kettle with coffee, tea, milk and sugar, iron and ironing board, toaster, hair dryer, extra pillows, sheets and blankets, just like Motels used to be like in years gone by. The cost was very reasonable, and the couple who run the place were lovely. Thank you from Room 27, Friday 31st January 2025.

Basic room has everything you need for a night.

The motel is clean. Didn’t have shampoo or conditioner, after a days work had to go to the supermarket first to be auto have a shower. Not happy about it

What I expected as it was cheaper accommodation

房間不大，環境衞生一般，Wi-Fi基本是擺設，湊合一晚上還行，多住幾晚受不了。

Room had no hot water, the water was only just warm. The room had not been vacummed, and the bathroom mirrors were not cleaned. A smell of mould in the room. Carpet had a burnt outine of an iron. Only 2 TV channels, no ABC. We complained, but were told no maintenance on site. Worst motel we've been in. Small discount from management achieved.

Stayed 30/9/22 to 4/10/2022 Room 11 .... the shower kept a fast drip going from the shower head due to the tap washers being in poor condition. When the plastic shower screen was left open this splashed onto the bathroom floor - and it was a very wet floor that I had to dry down with paper. We didn't have a shower on last day, as we were not game to use the shower taps with the faulty washers .. they might disintegrate totally. Floor creaked and there was no soap holder in the shower. Room was not serviced on at least two days of our four and I had to go and ask for fresh towels on one day. The air con was noisy but at least a heater was provided. I asked for compensation but got no reply at 8 Oct.

Well cared for, exceptionally clean and great value for money. This budget motel was surprisingly good with friendly staff and great amenities. A good low cost alternative to pricier accommodation over the border when visiting Canberra but just a few minute’s drive away.

Stayed in Queanbeyan as cheaper than Canberra for overnight stay. Good points about accommodation. Close to restaurants , Quiet , clean, comfy bed. Bad points shower pressure low. Dated room fittings and decor. No TV channels working. WIFI only available if you ask.
