Dakota Edinburgh recensioner

Very comfy and spacious room, perfect stay for travelling nearby Edinburgh. Around 30mins drive from Edinburgh royal mile, but I personally prefer staying in this hotel rather than those in the city centre since the rooms are larger and the environment are more relaxing.

Great hotel. Excellent service and facilities. Friendly staff. I really didn’t enjoy dinner tbh. The food was not tasty at all.

Beautiful hotel with a great vibe. Excellent location for what I needed. Staff were polite and room service was great! Also, fantastic to have car parking facilities. All in all I loved my stay and would recommend to anyone. I will definitely be back!

It's a lovel hotel located near the queensferry. People are helpful and warm! We got all we need and there is a Tesco near hotel. The room was clean. However, the only problem was that the exhaust fan in the bathroom. It turned on automatically from time to time, and turns off automatically after a while at one night. It would be a bit disturbing because there is no button to turn it off. In addition, the lighting in the room is relatively dim, which may not be easy for people who like a brighter environment.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Had breakfast on day of departure which was a nice and fresh selection from buffet along with our ordered breakfast.

Great hotel, nice bar and restraunt. Very friendly service. Would be really good if they ran the airport shuttle at weekends.

Location was great, with Tesco, Burger King, Scotmid Co-op, Macdonalds and multiple petrol stations nearby. Tesco and Burger King were within 2-5 minutes walking distance. Bed however was too soft for our liking.

I think it’s strange to put so many mirrors near the bed, behind the bed, because it’s so sacred,….. the light in the room is so dark and it’s difficult to find a place to put on make up. Emmmm,the location is really far from the central town and difficult to find a place to have a eat.

The whole experience in the Dakota was brilliant. The room was superb, bed very comfy, and hotel very quiet at night. Breakfast in the morning was great, and all staff were very attentive and very helpful and professional.

It would be nicer if additional pack of tissues could be put near the bed :)

Away from the center but very close to bus station and market Clean and friendly staff wide room with adventurous decorations Good food but a little bit expensive I advised it for Short stay as almost one hour away from city center and 40 min away from Edinburgh airport

Room was beautiful, clean & modern. The service from check-in and throughout our stay was superb. Would 100% recommend
