On the shore of the Firth of Forth, Queensferry is situated ten miles to the north of Edinburgh. So the Premier Inn Hotel Edinburgh (South Queensferry) is the ideal base for venturing into Scotland's first city, or for exploring the majestic landscape of the Lothians. Queensferry has some puzzling traditions, like the procession of the Burry Man and the annual dip in the Firth of Forth. But there are plenty of other things to do, such as a visit to the Georgian splendour of Hopetoun House or Dundas Castle. There are lots of business venues and good transport links. Once you're done for the day, come back to great food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant and a lovely comfy bed.

Great alternative hotel for someone traveling in Edinburgh, the 43 bus take you straight from city center to the hotel.
There's McDonalds and M&S Food Hall near the hotel.

As always never a problem with a Premier Inn. Clean, tidy and a place to sleep. Plus your normal friendly staff. Great access to the tram system into the city. Just a short walk away .Brewers Fayre is next door. If you need it. As for the sea view. Wow.

Very poor receptionist info Lack of info about what was avail No mention about restaurant availability The overall look of hotel is TIRED Corridors were stained - walls very marked, floor coverings heavily stained All door frame corners dirty - as if Hoover didn’t reach Bathroom floor & skirting boards very dusty Due to the extreme hot weather there was a fan issued - it was filthy Overall extremely disappointed

The hotel has homeless non nationals frequently walking around the restaurant in bare feet and purposefully coughing towards the food counter Absolutely disgusting behaviour Keep away folks

Went for a meal in south Queensferry which was some 15/20 mins away., Decided to go back to pub/ hotel for last drink. ( After checking their closing time on their own website) got back to hotel at 10.04 pm only to be told bar shut at 10pm . Advised that their own website states 10.30pm and that Trip advisor and Google ste 10 pm and they have not control on their own website. Other travellers stated that they felt rushed to finish their Drinks

Excellent. Always find Premier Inn clean and comfortable - we were five weary cyclists doing a charity ride from Land's End to John O'Groats, and were very well looked after by extremely friendly and efficient staff. We were even given a box of shortbread to help us on our way! Really highly recommended - thanks for having us.
