This is an excellent property with amazing view. Would like to thank Vinod for ensuring comfortable stay for us. Hall was huge helping us to commingle. I would like to suggest big families or group of 7 to stay here comfortably with stunning views

Our family getaway at Breakfree The Point in Queenstown was unforgettable. The property’s prime location offers stunning lake views, making every moment special, from morning coffee to evening sunsets. The accommodations were comfortable and well-equipped, providing a true home-away-from-home feel. With easy access to Queenstown’s attractions, yet peaceful surroundings, it was the perfect retreat. The staff was friendly and attentive, specially Vinod ensuring all our needs were met with great care. For a memorable family vacation in Queenstown, Breakfree The Point is a top choice. We chose Breakfree The Point we have stayed some 10 years ago and enjoyed our stay then. Hoping to have the same experience again, we were terribly disappointed. I like to give an honest review as I do understand things happen however unfortunately this time I am unable to. Upon checkin at 2pm we were told our room was not cleaned and we were to wait half an hour for it to be serviced. As they only have checkin times between 2 -5pm you would think being so strict that they too would adhere to the same strictness. We waited and at 2:30pm the room was still not cleaned. We had an appointment so had to go to that and on our arrival back we opened the door to a very subpar clean if you call it that. The kitchen bench had not been wiped and had spills still on it, there were cobwebs everywhere, all surfaces were dirty and a brown smear of something on the wall. Ventured downstairs to the only bathroom and it was full of mould. Not only was this terrible to see but it a health hazzard. Not sure how this place is allowed to continue offering guests rooms with this much mould in it. We weren’t prepared to take the risk so closed the door and found alternative accomodation. The place has gotten very run down and out and the only good thing it had is the views. Even the floor boards to the window s feels unsafe as you walk to the window . It’s like it is on a lean or something. This is not up to standard and we’re very disappointed. Have contacted the reception but they have not responded. Please do yourself a favour and checkin to another place. There are plenty of options that for the money would be safer, cleaner and better for your experience.

Back here the third time already. After in and out of other Queenstown luxury accommodations, it is always good to come back to BreakFree and enjoy the hospitality and great view. The location is great, 5 mins to town, 10 mins to the airport. Free parking as well!
