Good experience

No tv in the room .the male receptionist wasn’t helpful as needed .

The room was clean and staff was very friendly. We used complimentary sauna access and quite enjoyed it. Air conditioner was working good as well. Would definitely come back!

Mutton dressed as lamb ! Old lodge is noisy and smelly like the old motel it is. At first the fresh decor is attractive and certainly works a charm . Till the plumbing betrays the age of the building . Every tap in the building sounds like a howling dog in the middle of the night ! The walls are paper thin. Could not sleep. The sustainability and wellness themes seem more opportunistic than real ! The property needs a lot of real work not just fancy chairs and wool hanging on the wall. Perhaps the late facing rooms are superior quality ; do not book the lodge rooms for over $200 / night. Too much to pay for no sleep.

I had a great stay at the Sherwood. The only downside was the price of laundry. $20 to do a full load and someone moved my laundry without me realizing so I had to pay twice - $30 for one load of laundry 😞. The meal and service was great and I liked the cozy lodge decor.

I won’t recommend it,they couldn’t find my booking under my name so they charged me again. when I told them that I didn’t get the refund, they said they’ll send an email to manager,but they did nothing until I called them and asked. They only took it seriously when I asked their manager’s contact.It took so long to get my refund and I had to pay transaction fees!! We booked the sauna when we checked in,then the next day we went to the reception,they said they couldn’t find my booking again,and they didn’t even apologise for that,it’s all just ridiculous!

Awesome location with best services and beautiful scenery. Strongly recommended if you want to stay in a beautiful ambient environment with full amenities👍

BUT YOU FURTHER CHRGE ME 968.66 NZD ON 2/12. DEPOSITS? AND HAVE NOT BEEN REFUND YET UTILL NOW(2/18) PLEASE LET ME KNOW! THANKS!

Love the ambiance

The décor of the rooms were excellent and the small touches - such as the music that plays when you walk into the room, and the small bar area, the art work, and the welcome book - were really special. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quite, and the size of the room was prefect for two people. There is a sauna available to use by in-house guests, which is excellent after a long hike. Overall, the quality of the room was value for money. There is also a restaurant, but sadly it was not open the day that we stayed (Monday). We were quite upset about that as we had read very good reviews about the chef and food quality! Whilst the staff were nice at check in, they did not give much information about the premises (i.e. they didn't give us a tour or anything), and we had to ask a lot of questions. The location is outside of town, but a short drive if you have a car, or a short bus ride (the bus stop is right outside the hotel). Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here!

Location is not bad. But bit remote from city. Good we like a walk (4km) to get to Queenstown. Location is very well suited if you want to have some quiet time.

距離機場不遠，出門就是公交車站，intercity大巴的接人點也在這個公交站，非常方便。衞生好像是兩天打掃一次。

시설,위치 다 좋았는데 2층짜리에 2층을 줘서 짐 오르내리기가 좀 불편했어요. 작은 주방시설이 있어서-개수대,티포트,토스터기 같은-간단한 조리해서 먹었어요. 직원들 모두 친절해서 좋았고 주차시설 넓어서 좋아요.와이파이 빵빵해요.
