Espadilla Gardens Hotel

Wonderful hotel! Rooms are clean, staff nice and great pool. You do have to walk 1 block to the main hotel for breakfast but the breakfast was terrific. The beach is 1 block away and at low tide there are vendors with chairs/umbrellas. Manuel Antonio Park is walking distance. The Hotel arranged a kayak tour for us with pick up. Overall this is a great choice for the area.

Amazing hotel with everything you need. We spent 3 nights at this hotel and it was amazing. It is very close to park Manuel Antonio, 4 minutes walking. We loved to stay at Gardens as it is more calm that the Playa Espadilla (where it is the bar and restaurante). The swimming pool was always with very few people, super relax. And it has directly access to the beach. The meals at the restuarnt were very good and the breakfast as well. The only thing we didn't like that must was the size of the room, too small. Many thanks for these amazing days.

We checked out. The reviews were excellent. We didn’t know what to expect. What a wonderful surprise. The place is pristine. It is clean. It follows the covid protocols. The menu is specific. We tasted patacones, fried fish and curry shrimps. Everything was just amazing… the service is just amazing. The food is just whoa.. the chef is incredible.. we decided to stay for coffee and a margarita… the best we have tasted..the cost value is excellent… Will go back any time…we highly recommend this restaurant

Quiet, clean, steps to the beach and to the national park. Delicious breakfast, lovely pool and grounds - what a nice way to start our vacation. When it rained we spent time in the comfortable palapas by the pool and watched the iguanas. The staff were kind and patient with our muy mal español. :-)

If you like to be in an hotel, fells like family, you will be well served. Very close to the beach, rooms are clean, the service from the reception are amazing- the best is Yafit ! Food is very good from the restaurant, you must try the pizza!

Two hotels actually, with Playa Espadilla across the street. Not as well-adorned as their sister hotel but more than adequate. Can use the more up-scale facilities and pool across the street, where meals are also served. The kicker, though, was that when I mentioned that it was my daughter's 15th birthday, the hotel went all out. We got back to the room during the day, and the bed was decorated with petals, heart-shaped towel sculptures, and the most incredible personalized flower arrangement-bouquet I have ever seen. At dinner, there was a specially-decorated table for us and a musician; after dinner, the whole staff came to sing Happy Birthday and offered Ruby a delicious tres leche cake. We were truly moved. With the beach and the ocean and that special treatment, my daughter said that not only was it the best birthday of her life, but also the best day, period. Will definitely return to the hotel and the amazingly beautiful land and people of Costa Rica. Pura vida!
