The room was amazing, the host was friendly, the food was tasty and plentiful, and the atmosphere was perfect. Every inch of the house is delightful and charming. The neighborhood is quiet and charming. Easy to park next to the house. Best B&B I’ve ever stayed in.

This is our FAVORITE place to stay when we go to Tallahassee. It's only 20 minutes away from the university. It gives us peace and quiet and a relaxed atmosphere. Richard and Tina are fantastic hosts. The breakfast is always awesome, and the accommodations are excellent and comfortable. We LOVE the McFarlin House!

If you love to stay in beautiful historic homes, like we do, then you will not want to skip this one. It's lovely and so are the hosts: Richard and Tina. We loved the cozy fireplace in our room and all of the antique decor. The breakfast was so delicious and was ample!! I'm a chef and New Orleans foodie and I give the Breakfast a 10 out of 10!! Overall, it was just a lovely stay, and we would definitely go back!!

Wonderful says it all. The owners are so gracious. They are engaging. The home is a part of history. You can imagine guests entering through the front door and escorted to the parlor awaiting the owners. Or watching a young girl coming down the staircase with her date looking up to her in awe.

We had a wonderful experience at McFarlin House. Not only is the property historic and beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the breakfasts were amazing. Honestly, the breakfast was great but without a doubt this was the best coffee and orange juice my husband and I have ever had. A look at the antique kitchen was the topper!

The house is well appointed and Richard was a good host. We were disappointed with the mattress on our bed… way too soft and just had an “old” feel to it. The only other thing that was unusual was that there was no light in our shower! Taking a shower in the dark was interesting. Breakfast was not over the top and very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at the house! The place is beautiful and the history of the house and area is amazing. The food was delicious and every morning was something different. Richard and Tina are friendly and extremely easy to be around. The room was perfect with a very comfortable bed and beautiful bath. Thank you Richard and Tina for a wonderful weekend!

Beautifully restored Inn that maintains elegance while providing comfortable modern conveniences. The innkeeper was warm and welcoming and provided fascinating historical information about the Inn and surrounding areas. Well worth a visit!

We had a wonderful stay at McFarlin House. Richard was very personable and suggested interesting places to visit nearby. The inn is beautifully decorated in period antiques and there's a great porch swing to enjoy after dinner. We loved our room, the delicious breakfasts and special dinner. Enjoyable 3 day stay.
