Riad Sidi Fatah

The room was so beautiful with a opulent ceiling and traditional morrocan decor. Water was hot and the heating in the room worked well. This is a small family run place so it’s homey rather than fancy but the family was so lovely and kind to us. They made us a great breakfast and were always present if we had questions. They even made us tea late at night before bed!

Riad Sidi Fatah is one of the first raids you come across in the Rabat Edina. If you need to find it, flow the Main Street (Sid Fatah) down to the right turn option that has ‘Restaurant’ with a right arrow painted on it. They have a large wooden treatment on the door, and an intercom button to push. Which mainly works.. The place has charm, the beds (we had 2 different rooms over 2 short stays of 2 nights each) comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are tiny, and the shower sprays everywhere so make sure you do not leave your towels nearby. The silicone around our sink appeared to have been put on with a shovel, it was messy and peeling. We visited the terrace one time, it was okay but we mainly spent our time out of the Medina walking or visiting places. The lighting is ABYSMAL. The owners, who live in France, have heard about this but must be keen not to improve their rating. Just simply putting in warm lighting that has more than 2 footcandles would launch this riad into a 4 star rating. The switches are awkward, none at the bedroom door, several non functioning. The internet is sometimes dodgy. The staff are great and accommodating. Walid is especially helpful and knowledgeable. But the lighting is terrible.

Riad tranquillo e accogliente, posizione molto buona nella Medina, camere pulite, ottima colazione sulla terrazza. Personale gentile e disponibile. Bagni un po' piccoli ma arredati con gusto e in stile marocchino. Sicuramente d7a provare!

Très bon rapport qualité prix .Petit riad traditionnel avec beaucoup de charme et un personnel très accueillant et souriant .Jolies chambres et belle double terrasse fleurie. Très bon séjour de 3 nuits avec un super emplacement au cœur de la medina et des souks .

Mais do que um Riad, este local é um lar fora de casa, tal é a disponibilidade e a simpatia dos funcionários, designadamente o Mohamed, o Walid e a Souad. A localização é boa, ficando junto de um dos acessos à Medina, os quartos são confortáveis (sendo, pelo menos um deles, esteticamente bastante apelativo, como de resto as zonas comuns do Riad), o pequeno-almoço é farto. Para relaxar e ver o pôr do sol, sugiro uma ida ao terraço. A repetir, decididamente.
