Service wonderful, room very well laid out for wheelchair access, bathroom fully accessible in wheelchair including the shower area, with fitted chair for easy transfer and grab rails situated in good positions. Bed very comfortable and made up as often as you require, with beautiful artwork made from soft furnishings. Balcony accessible with wheelchair without assistance needed. Entire hotel fully accessible with ease. Which made our stay perfect. There is a hoist to assist getting in and out of the pool if required. Sun beds are a little low if you are unable to transfer, but having spoken with the manager, it is the pipeline for possibly different ones when the hotel is refurbished. We will definitely be coming back as this is a wonderful hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing, extremely friendly and very helpful. Food is very tasty and beautifully presented, with plenty of choice, but if you do decide to go to any of the bookable restaurants be aware that the men must wear long trousers.

Reception was fantastic we were greeted and upgraded to a pool villa fantastic start. Pool villa was fantastic it gives you a choice to be alone, and they are well set up. The pools and bars are all superb. The theatre was good. The food was amazing, both buffet and speciality. The staff are all friendly and cannot do enough. It is our favourite Riu alongside riu palace aruba. Well done and thank you to Riu Palace Boa Vista.

Recently stayed in one of the swim up rooms. Fabulous room, close to beach, pools and snack bar. Staff were great-special mention to Paulo, Eddie, thierry Freddy , rito and sherif-couldn’t do enough for us! Food was great but often mislabelled so had some surprises! All staff were friendly and hard working. Food in steakhouse was poor and only one steak (veal) on menu. Other al a cartes were great . Beautiful beach, and fab meal in casa Rosa in town also. Couple of suggestions-need to enforce the no kids at pool bar rule and have specific smoking areas. We’re non smokers and to have someone smoking on next sun bed wasn’t pleasant. Overall lovely hotel in lovely location .

I read quite a few reviews before I visited, which just goes to show that some negative feedback is isolated. From start to finish we have had a fabulous time, the staff are the friendliest people Iv ever met and every single one of them from the manages, waiting staff and gardeners all really enjoying what they do. Always happy to stop for a chat. The food was outstanding with a very good mix including a good variation for vegetarians and pescatarians. Plenty of sun beds and areas by the pools to relax or the beach. Entertainment was great and all about enjoyment. The island statement of No Stress really is true. Thank you to everyone that made our stay such an enjoyable one.

We stayed for 11 nights in March 2025, and enjoyed every minute. This was a fly-and-flop for us, and it did everything we could have wanted. The Facilities were all of a high specification, kept spotlessly clean, and every effort was made to help people to enjoy their stay. The food was outstanding across all of the restaurants, was was the bar service. WE used the RIU app for restaurant bookings, maintenance and checking activities, and it worked perfectly for all of them. Maintenance was quick, easy and efficient. Above all, though, the staff were all first-class, from gardeners to cleaners, waiters and management: everyone was smiling, ready to oblige, and going out of their way to help. Entertainment was very good, and varied. Special mention to the staff at the Capuccino coffee bar, for their permanent cheerfulness, lovely coffee service, and the cakes!

We stayed in palace Boa Vista in April for two weeks and have a very relaxing time all the staff were brilliant. Food. We did not eat at the restaurants has my wife is vegetarian and the restaurants don’t cater for vegetarians. But the mani restaurant was good and a good vegetarian options. The only thing that let the restaurant down was the flies on a morning but over all a very good stay

This hotel is a good family hotel, BUT we had a terrible experience at Folce Vitta restaurant. The restaurants need to be booked in advance, and you get a time slot for 2 hours. Our slot was from 1830 to 2030, at 19:55 they started covering the food with a wrap while we were serving food and at 20:00 they same to ask us leave the restaurant (we were the only guest left) while I (mom of a toddler was having my last bite of food). I have never been treated like this at a restaurant, having 2 people not letting me finish my dinner!!! PS: food was not any good either. Name of the 2 rude gentlemen: Dieter and Martin.

After spending eleven wonderful nights at the RIU Palace Boavista last year we deciide to re-vist again this year and enjoy the friendly relaxing atmosphere. As a diamond member we appreciated the room upgrade knowing this is not always possible. A big thank you to all the staff making our stay memorable.
