Le château de Bonnemare - Bed and Breakfast recensioner

We had a memorable stay at this beautiful chateau. Stunning and idyllic setting. We had a lovely walk around the grounds and there are even beautiful woods too in the grounds. A wonderful family own and run the chateau which has been in the family for several generations. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning with home made cake and preserves and local apple juice. Along with fresh fruit , cheese and pastries. The family are a delight and we will definitely love to return.

It is not complete luxury and opulence, but you get to see a real world example of a French palace and how it operated, how people lived and the atmosphere for living in the country a few hundred years ago.

This beautiful atmospheric establishment is 5-star! The rooms feel like stepping back in time yet offer all the modern conveniences. The beds are very comfortable and the linens and towels are plush. Breakfast is included and plentiful; the host/owner and his family prepare and serve the meal. There is fresh fruit, selections of breads and cheese, an assortments of jams and honey, and plenty of coffee and/or tea. The grounds of the chateau are idyllic and peaceful. Through our open bedroom window, we even heard a cuckoo bird in the distance! Do stay here if the opportunity presents! It will be a highlight of your visit to France.

Magnifique château pour une escapade en amoureux ! Un lieu chargé d'histoire, offrant un cadre authentique. Belle et grande suite Louis XVI bien équipée. Le petit-déjeuner de produits locaux était délicieux, il est servi au coin du feu dans une salle à manger d'époque. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire. Un pur dépaysement au calme et au plus près de la nature à 30 mn de Rouen.
