All recommendations for this hotel. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable, especially during breakfast. Hygiene is at a high level, the rooms are clean, special praise and greetings to Florentina from Housekeeping, a very kind smiling lady who really brightens up the guest's day, as well as most of the hotel employees. Concierges are responsible for our good organization, during our stay , always on guest's service , punctual and accurate. We are gonna come next year! P.S. Many thanks to director of hotel, Franck Sciessere, he really made us feel at home.

My friend and I spent 6 nights at Villa Marie in July. I had heard good things about the hotel from so we were excited to try it. The property is pretty but was not for us. Check-in: Staff at reception were nice and check-in was relatively quick. Our room was not ready, so we had lunch at the restaurant while we waited. Staff: Aside from reception, we did not find the staff to be over friendly or helpful. If you wanted or needed anything, it was up to us to ask, and even then, it could take several requests before you got what you needed. In the 6 days we spent there, we were never approached by the manager or anyone who asked how our stay was going. Location: The hotel is 10-15 min from town and 10-20 minutes from most beaches and beach clubs. Many people like that it is close to nothing and therefore quiet, but for us we found it taxing to have to cab anytime we needed to leave. And speaking of quiet, you can hear a pin drop everywhere you go on property, from the pool to the gym to the restaurant. I have not seen people speak so little before on vacation. Spa/Gym: We didn’t visit the spa but we did use the gym each morning. They don’t have much equipment but it was just enough so we could make it work for us. Food: The food was overall disappointing and the menu at lunch and dinner is tiny and doesn’t change. We were there for 6 nights and we were bored of everything on the menu by day 2. If the food were amazing, we wouldn’t have minded eating the same things over and over, but it was average at best. Room: We had a suite with terrace that overlooked the restaurant (roof) and a bit of the sea. The room was fine but not large enough for me to consider it a suite. The furniture and rugs were old and needed to be cleaned, it all smelled a bit musty. Water: They give you 1 bottle on each side of your bed each night and that's it. All the other water you pay for which I don't enjoy at a 5 star hotel. Pool: If you want 100% silence, then this is the pool for you. I never heard a sound during our stay from anyone. And we had to stop the bar staff every time we wanted a cocktail or bottle of water. They would bring it, and then never ask again if you would like another. If you want complete silence and no one speaking to you, including the staff, then this could be the hotel for you. If you want any kind of lively interaction, stay somewhere else. We will stay in town next summer.

An excellent family stay at Villa Marie. Close to all the lovely beach clubs, club 55 , La Serena, shuttle to town - beautiful property with a stunning pool and colour scheme. I couldn’t recommend them more. The staff go above and beyond and a special thank you to Damien who greeted us everyday and helped me with my bags, Benjamin for organising us impeccably, Camille and the reception team. Beautiful garden, wonderful swimmingpool. Genuin greek hotel driven by a nice family. Wonderful breakfast served at the table in the nice garden. This could be a five star if not for all the rules we got informed about along the week. We have three kids, 7, 10 and 12. First day our kids were swimming 4 pm and the owner told us swimming was not aloud between 3 and 5.30 in the afternoon because they had problem with the neighbour complaining. For us, this was the best time to hang around the pool, just after the beach, so we were a bit disappointed. We could only swim if we were silent, this is not the case when you have kids. Next day we were on our way to swim around 9.30 pm (pool were suppose to be open until 10 pm). But we were told not to swim because they were cleaning the pool… Two nights, around midnight when we just got into bed the owner called us and said we could not use the AC on 16 degrees and high fan since the motor would burn out and it was too loud for other guests. Next night when we put the aircon on 20 degrees they called us again because the noise from the AC disturbed other guests… all together this unfortunately made us feel not so welcome.. They could have informed us when we checked in about the pool and AC rules. The owner were very helpful with recommendations on tours and restaurants. And cleaning was very good. We would recommend you to have a car. You can easily walk during the night for restaurants but a car is needed during the hot days to go to nice beaches. Overall, we would say it is better for couples and adults. Syvota is a lovely place. Rent a boat and also we recommend a visit to the Anchor river.

Villa Marie was charming throughout our stay. It’s location is quiet—about 10 minutes from the center of Saint Tropez but the staff shuttles guests back and forth at a moment’s notice. The rooms, the pool and all the public areas are just gorgeous—all created out of a lovely old building. The two concierges were also incredible—they arranged restaurants, beach clubs, taxis and finally a last minute boat ride to take us to Cannes. What a gem of a hotel.

We just spent 2 days at Villa Marie and from the moment we pulled up the attentive and super friendly staff made us feels so welcome. The concierge booked our dinners and did a great job, the shuttle that took us back and forth from town, about a 10 minute drive came immediately when we called making this super convenient. For the price this is a super value that I highly recommend. Even the cleaning staff left our rooms spotless with extra care to turn on the heated tile floors in bathroom and adjusting the air. Breakfast that was included was just as lovely. We had stayed here 10 years ago and it was just as wonderful. I don’t know how they hire such a super staff who go out of their way to make your stay perfect!

This is a wonderful hotel, that should get a five, but gets a zero from us on maintenance and customer satisfaction. I write this review from a very pleasant terrace in a room without a working toilet. We first alerted the Hotel to this three hours ago , and they said they would repair it tomorrow morning. This is completely unacceptable for what is otherwise a beautiful hotel .

Es war ein wundervoller Abend an einem wundervollen Ort. Wir haben meinen 60sten Geburtstag dort mit der Familie gefeiert. Das Personal ist vorwiegend herzlich und daran interessiert einen guten Service zu bieten. Wir sind eine Familie von Feinschmeckern und gönnen uns immer in unseren Ferien einen Abstecher in die gehobene Gastronomie. Wir haben 2 Chefs und eine Hotelfachfrau im Team und schauen mit kritischem Auge auf die Preis Leistung. Leider würden wir dort einen Punktabzug machen. Der Apero war fein die Cocktails gut zubereitet. Die Vorspeise war sehr lecker und sehr erfrischend. Das Essen war aber leider teilweise kalt und die Garzeiten nicht eingehalten, das Gemüse variierte zwischen hart und verkocht mit einer verbrannten Note, unserem Erlebnis hat dies keinen Abbruch getan aber für 950,- Euro definitiv nicht die Leistung die wir erwartet haben. Gefreut habe ich mich noch sehr über das Geburtstagsständchen und die sehr leckeren Petit Fours ❤️ der Charme unseres Kellners war zauberhaft und er hat uns oft zum Lachen gebracht. Dem Gastronomie Nachwuchs ein grosses Lob. Wir hatten den Eindruck es fehlte ein Koordinator im Service , ein Maître d‘Hotel 😉 Merci Kathrin und Familie

Cadre magnifique pour le déjeuner de midi. Milieu intimiste. Carte provençale. Nous avons bien mangé en profitant de la vue et du rosé. Le personnel a été bienveillant et à notre écoute. Bel endroit que nous recommandons.

Потрясающие завтраки, очень милый персонал, ресторан на вечер фантастически красивый и вкусный. Практически каждый день можно встретить менеджера отеля, который всегда подойдёт и спросит, как проходит наш отдых. Желаем процветания нашему любимому отели и рекомендуем его от души!

Это безусловно самый лучший отель в Сантропе , езжу сюда уже около 15 лет , но каждый раз он становится только лучше и новее . Супер сервис и отличный персонал . Безумно красивые номера . Очень приятная энергетика как для семейного отдыха так и для романтических пар .

Magnifique endroit au milieu de la pinède tropézienne. Très belle déco, hôtel, chambres, jardins extrêmement bien entretenus. Nous y avons passé 5 nuits et y avons été très bien accueillis. Même si tout n’a pas été parfait, les quelques problèmes auxquels nous avons été confrontés ont vite été adressés par le personnel au petit soin et par la gentillesse du directeur qui ont su réagir avec professionnalisme. Très bons conseils des concierges niveau restauration et hôtesses d’accueil extrêmement sympathiques. Merci à toutes et tous.

Leider entsprach der Service überhaupt nicht einem 5 Sterne Hotel/Restaurant. Das Essen war gut, aber nicht überragend. Die Aussicht ist top, macht den Gesamteindruck leider nicht wett. Zudem waren nur junge, sehr unerfahrene Mitarbeiter im Service. Auf diesem Level erwartet man dann doch mehr.
