The bed linen and towels were stained. I had to ask for linen and towels to be changed in both rooms, at check in Gecko's in both rooms unhygienic because the Gecko ran out of the kettle. Buffet breakfast was terrible on first day. But the second day was good

This hotel was a surprise...I had lowish expectations after reading some reviews yet I found it quite good Nice room if basic... Clean and with nice view Stunning location right next to the waterfall Food was good . Of course it's remote so basically have to eat in the restaurant there

Ramboda Falls Hotel is located in the visinity of beautiful Ramboda water fall. Friendly staff and convenient location. If you are travelling to Nuwara Eliya, Ramboda Falls Hotel is a cool and lovely hotel to stay on your way. Swimming pool facility. Breathtaking view of Ramboda water fall.

I recently stayed here, but unfortunately, my experience was far from ideal. Upon check-in, I was greeted by a bald gentleman who introduced himself as the manager. His attitude left a lot to be desired – he was dismissive and unhelpful when I raised a few concerns. It felt as if any question or issue was an inconvenience to him, which was disappointing, especially coming from a manager. The room itself also didn’t live up to expectations. The floors were sticky and didn’t feel properly cleaned, which raised concerns about overall cleanliness and maintenance standards. The discomfort from the uncleanliness made it difficult to relax and enjoy the stay. For a place that’s presumably aiming to provide a comfortable experience, attention to such basic details would make a big difference. I hope the management takes feedback seriously to improve the experience for future guests. Better customer service and cleanliness standards would go a long way in making this a place I could recommend. For now, it’s not somewhere I’d rush back to, given these issues.

My husband and I stayed at Ramboda Falls Hotel in March 2023 during a trip to Neliya, and it was an incredible experience. Nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka's hill country, the view of the Ramboda Falls were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of cascading water was a highlight of my trip. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and having a room with a view of the falls made it even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed the meals at the hotel, which featured a great mix of local and international dishes. The dining area had a cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, I highly recommend Ramboda Falls Hotel. It’s a fantastic base for exploring the beautiful hill country and truly enjoying the serenity of the falls.
