coolnest Designhotel

We were staying down in Ramsau and wanted a special meal for our last night. The walk up the hill took us ~15min (watch for cars in the dark!). We had great service and great food. The price was also good. Make sure you pre-book a table as it gets busy in the restaurant. You get a 2 hour slot which is enough time without rushing. I had one of the curries with chicken and it was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Hotel vibes are great, the view is wonderfull, great and kind staff and the breakfast very good. Great place for vication in this amazing country. the energy at the hotel was inviteble from the get go. The staff was so so helpfull and kind and ready for any request

We had the most incredible stay at Coolnest! From the moment that we arrived, we were constantly greeted and made to feel very welcome and relaxed by everyone who works at the hotel. The lobby is a beautiful place to relax in and the rooms were extremely spacious for two people. A standout of the hotel is the breakfast and afternoon snack (which was huge, changed everyday, and used excellent quality ingredients). The nourishing food really set us up for a day on the slopes. There is a regular shuttle bus to the main slopes and the very kind driver offered to take us to Ahorn which wasn't on the list of drop off locations as he knew we wanted to have a day on some gentler slopes. Pick up was always very prompt. Sadly, I cannot remember the name of my masseuse (visited on 20/02/2025) but she provided an outstanding massage experience. It was the perfect way to end the trip and replenish muscles after lots of skiing. The value for money is really quite exceptional at this hotel. Thank you to all the staff at Coolnest for giving us such a memorable stay. We can't wait for our next visit!

Our stay at the Design Hotel Coolnest in September was a true feast for the senses. Visites here with friends last weekend and have to say that we all were absolutely surprised in a positive way! Coolnest looked just a new, well decorated and nice property with very nice views when we booked this long weekend there (for skiing). But we noticed already home that they put strong effort get your plans run smoothly… They organized well ahead shuttles and timetables for arrival day and we just had to keep our own vacation rolling :) And when we arrived, Owe et al. was rightaway ready to answer for every question we ever could get in mind. From that moment we knew that it does not matter if something goes wrong during next days: We will okay also here in foreign small village: they were really friendly and polite to help you no matter what (and with very very highly fluent english!) Property itself is a nice, new and well designed modern 4-star property with good saunas, heated pool, nice room (clean!) rooms. Breakfast was wide and fresh, plus based local items if possible :) Skishuttle served very fluently and almost minutesharply every day. Pool and saunas were good after long skiingday and every room had own locker for skies. Room was quiet, nice, clean and everything worked. So, Not a single thing to complain from a group of four: We were treated and spoiled like a loved ones :) Overall: 4-4+ for the hotel and 6/5 for staff and their attitude! Definitely book this, if you want good vacation in Zillertal.
