Courtyard Sacramento Rancho Cordova

I cannot fully express how utterly disappointed I am in this Courtyard by Marriott or how highly I suggest that nobody stay here. I've stayed at various Courtyards before and many other hotel chains and this is the first time I've ever had to pay for parking ($10 a day!!!). This is also the first that doesn't send housekeeping around to the rooms to do things like empty the trash during your stay. Supposedly they do that between guests but not while you stay. So if you stay a week, don't expect any fresh towels or an empty trash can or made bed. We even called down to the desk to ask for that since our worlds smallest trashcans were already overflowing after the first day and we were told they don't normally do that but they would come and do it since we requested only to then never show up. And as others have mentioned in their reviews, the street noise is terrible. They must have put in the cheapest possible windows when they built this place because you hear every car driving down the highway. It definitely doesn't make for a good night sleep at all! Overall, this hotel basically ruined our vacation. Stay away from it so it doesn't ruin your vacation too! I was expecting the high standards of a Courtyard By Marriott hotel and instead got a nice looking hotel with the standards of a fleabag motel.

This is an older hotel that is clean and well maintained with convenient freeway access. I got an interior courtyard room that over looked the pool and did not hear freeway road noise. On the downside, the hotel tries to charge for parking and the bottles of water in the room. I feel this is a little cheap on their part. Also on the downside, the free coffee in the room is pretty bad. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again.

Marriott Courtyard Rancho Cordova has a lovely entrance. However, the first room I was given had what appeared to be bug eggs on the mattress. The second room was acceptable, but noisy from road noise. There is only one elevator in the entire facility. It is in the far back corner, and it is very small, dirty, with no racks to transport your luggage. In addition, the rooms have popcorn ceilings and dingy carpets. Also, I was quoted a rate on Marriott Bonvoy and it came out $10 more. Nowhere did I see that there was a $10 fee to park. I have traveled across the country, and stayed in Marriott. I have never paid a fee to park. There were many open parking spaces, and did not see it posted anywhere that it cost to park when I made the reservation. Also, if you would like coffee in the morning, you must pay Starbucks. There is also food there for purchase by Starbucks. The front desk night person was a very pleasant person. But other than that, I could not recommend a stay at this Marriott.

Stayed overnight at the hotel. I get when hotels in high density areas require paid parking. This hotel is along a ***** of other hotels, other than charging the extra money there is no reason I can tell why to charge for parking. The room was clean but the shower was empty of the body wash and shampoo; the hotel was able to provide a bar of soap but I had to call up for it and no apology for the empty supplies. The hotel is directly next to a Mexican restaurant and a McDonalds; otherwise there are bars and restaurants a short walk away. The neighborhood seemed safe enough, would stay again as I'm sure the lack of supplies was just an oversight.

I was impressed. The hotel doesn't have much curb appeal. It looks like one of those 1980s two-story hotels that you found on every freeway off ramp. My room was extremely comfortable and I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite. Traveling on government business working nearby at the emergency services office, this was a perfect choice for a one-night stay. It would have actually been a comfortable choice for several nights.

Rooms are totally fine, friendly staff, but the parking lot was nearly empty, yet they charged extra for parking. We easily found a similar hotel with free parking and booked it for our second night.

Arrived at the hotel for a 2 day business conference at approximately 8:30pm. Check in was normal, however the front desk was not very pleasant, as the employee didn't seem to want to be there. Took almost 10 minutes to check in, even though I had made reservations in advance. (I was the only person checking in). Prior to flying into Sacramento, I wanted to make sure that the restaurant would be open, and the Marriott advertised 10:30 as the closing time. After checking in I walked across the lobby to the bar/restaurant. I asked if they were still open and the reply was, I could make you something, but to be honest with you, I already cleaned the grill and put away all the food. There is a McDonalds next door that closes in 10- minutes. WOW! I went to my room and ordered Grubhub. The next morning at 7:30am I went down for coffee and a complementary breakfast before my meeting. I was told breakfast wasn't set up yet, and to come back in 20-30 minutes. WOW! Instead, this time I did go to McD next door. On my business break, I returned to the hotel and checked out a day early. I am an avid Marriott cardholder, and this was one of the most disappointing locations I have been to.

Just returned from our third stay here. We have family in Sacramento that we visit regularly. The remodel is very nice. The bistro staff is great, especially the breakfast lady. BUT, it's not going to stay nice for very long. Our room had very obviously not been vacuumed, swept or mopped. There were bits of paper and foil, probably from food containers, on the carpet. There was hair and dust in the bathroom. The shower was slippery, I suppose from soap scum. I hope they changed the sheets but I'm not really sure. We were charged for parking for each night even though we'd made it very clear that we did not have a car upon check in. Marriott is really going downhill, but I I'm sure they'd blame it on their inability to hire enough staff. Pay them a decent wage, people deserve respect.

First, I want to say I appreciate Bonvoys loyalty program. We had two nights comped via our membership. We stayed at this location using them for a club sport weekend tournament. I want to share minor constructive criticism though the hotel needs to address. In checking out we saw they charged $10 per day for parking. This hotel sits is a sea of parking lots among other hotels & fast food spots. Dont charge loyal patrons for parking in a location like this. Totally understand if youre in a dense area where there are not enough spots but this is not one of them. Guests are on an island and have no where to go elsewhere. It just feels a bit desperate honestly. Again, very pleasant stay otherwise. Just consider doing away with this fee please.
