Escape to the peace and beauty of the countryside in our charming home, thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and memorable vacation. Enjoy access to 30 private acres for hunting and fishing, along with direct access to the Canisteo River. Three kayaks are available for your use, making it easy to explore the water at your own pace. Unwind by our large pool (open May 20 – September 5), complete with a shaded pergola—perfect for sunbathing or lounging with a good book. For outdoor fun, take advantage of the horseshoe pit and badminton setup. Ample indoor and outdoor seating makes this home ideal for gatherings of any kind. Inside, you’ll find a well-stocked kitchen with cooking utensils, cookware, and a coffee maker—just bring your favorite foods, beverages, and morning brew. We provide one set of linens per guest, but please remember to bring your own pool towels. While there is no cell service at the property, our Wi-Fi ensures you can still stay connected. We are located near the Finger Lakes Wine Trails, the Corning Museum of Glass, and many other local attractions—making this the perfect home base for your adventures. Please Note: Help us keep the space beautiful by leaving it as you found it. Being in the countryside, you may encounter nature—please don’t leave food outside overnight. Don’t forget bug spray for your comfort outdoors! Cool house with lots of amenities. Weather was cool but did get in the pool. Enjoyed campfire. Guys went fishing and kayaking. Played 8-ball in the evenings. Visited Seneca Lake, Watkins Glen, Corning Glass Museum and Rockwell Art Museum.Train was closer and more frequent than anticipated.

My family and I had an enjoyable mini vacation exploring the beautiful mountains, trails and scenery. The house and accompanying land was perfect for sitting outside and relaxing after a long day of hiking. The pool was an extra special treat on those hot days. There was so much for my family to do both inside and out. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

The property was great! The pool was clean and inviting and the outdoor space was so relaxing! The host was wonderful and very communicative. We had a 3 and 6 year old with us and it was very kid friendly. They loved the train going by!

Perfect place to unwind from our busy schedules and reconnect as a family. There are multiple spots inside/outside of the property to hang out together, whether we are playing card games, or enjoying a meal. Beautiful view of the night sky and surrounding areas of nature. We would definitely book again!

Lovely secluded property if that's what you're looking for-the train adds charm. Conveniently located next to a little market that has something for everyone whether you want to cook or not. 20 minutes from Addison/Corning/Woodhull where there are cute local spots to check out.The house has all the creature comforts you could want-we were there during a heat wave and the host had the AC cranked for us when we arrived. If you're traveling with multiple adults I would suggest bringing an air mattress or two as some of the beds are small for two! The living areas are spacious enough to not feel overcrowded if your bunking in. The pool was fantastic - sparkling and inviting. Plenty of floats/arm floaties for kids. We really enjoyed all of the outdoor seating. Our small family gathering turned into about 30 people and there was plenty of room for everyone! We didn't use the lawn above the house but the fire pit, volley ball net and horse shoe pit were ready to go and the host provides everything for a fun yard game.

home away from home The property and amenities were absolutely perfect for some overdue family time. The property owners were very accommodating and wonderful to work with! We enjoyed our stay and were sad to see it end. Thank you for allowing us to share this beautiful space!!
