My wife booked for our anniversary overnight and it worked out wonderful. I had contacted Cass about getting a bud vase and a red rose, she got six red roses and wouldn't let pay her, said it was her anniversary gift to us! Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. Best of luck to these young people and if and when we're back in Galena we will stay with you again!

This place has a very vintage vibe. It worried me at first that the reviews I had read were wrong, especially since Belle Aire is under new ownership. However, fear not! We enjoyed a nice stay, and really enjoyed talking with Steve and Cass about our mutual love/hate relationship with Aldi and sharing our *parents of multiples* stories and advice. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. (The two most important parts of B and B, right?) We wish you the best of luck on your new venture!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Belle Aire! Lorraine and Jan are wonderful hosts and made us feel like we were family. Delicious breakfast every morning and their conversation was delightful every time we spoke. We will definitely visit again!

The owners are the friendliest people you will ever meet and the food was amazing and the rooms were spotless. We loved our stay at the bed and breakfast. Definitely would go back and stay again. Had a good time.

We go back to this bed and breakfast year after year - Lorraine and Jan are the perfect hostess and host - the rooms are wonderful - the food is the best. It feels like HOME. It shows that they are a great place to stay when they get several calls for a last minute room and she has to say they are full. And if a room does open at the last minute for some reason - it is filled within minutes.

Lorraine and Jan greeted us like long lost friends. We stayed in the canopy room which was beautiful and well supplied. They offered excellent guidance on where to visit in the area and prepared a fantastic 5 star breakfast for us in the morning. The pecan french toast was so terrific that all of the guests present asked for the recipe, which Lorraine already had neatly prepared on blue recipe cards to take home. Our hosts were warm, friendly, beautiful people. They made such a great impression that they may be added to our Christmas card list. 🙂

The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, and the owners, Jan and Lorraine treated us like family. The homemade breakfast was delicious. They even mailed me an item I had left behind back to my house free of charge!

A wonderful weekend trip to galena, my boyfriend and i stayed at our very first BNB and it was that best experience. The owners make you feel so welcomed and loved from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave! We stayed in the canopy room and it was amazing, very cozy, romantic and you didn’t feel like other were in the house as well. We will be back plenty of more times! Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend trip

My children purchased this stay for my 60th BD. My husband and I had to wait for Covid to pass to use it. We finally were able to use the Gift. It was the best time, we have had in a long time! The Canopy room was Awesome along with the Hot Tub in our room. So spacious and felt like home. We felt so welcomed with Jan and Loraine, super super nice people; I can't say enough about them! The breakfasts were great, very enjoyable, and relaxing. We wish them the best on their retirement, just wish they would be there for a long long time!
